  • Now that is a love song. Nice jukebox. Rare sight in 2012.

  • I am 64 years old now. And 1964 seems so long ago. I was just a kid then but two years later I would be in the Army and headed to Vietnam. Seems like that war just changed everything for the country and for me too. Innocents lost I suppose. After that I became a cop in a major metro area and just retired in 2010. Its been a wild ride.............

  • Mimetics My Valentines song for Judas Priest Also. The 'i' and 'e' of mathematics. St Valentine's day Massacre, Al Capone. Pink Floyd The Wall.

  • Went ot school with one in SF. George Washington High. Nice girls.

  • This is good stuff!! Thanks

  • John Lennon copied the opening of this song for his own composition Merry Xmas War Is Over.

  • We rode these wonderful times right up to the assassination, then everything changed. God, how I miss those days. I never thought I would be nostalgic in my approaching old age. I wonder if the young ones of today can ever look back upon today with such fondness. It seems to me the biggest female stars go on stage and carry on like street walkers. And Master Bieber? Back then he'd have been blown out of the water by stars with TALENT.

  • Was so grateful that I was able to be a part of this era. The music was heartfelt and meaningful. Not to mention the drive-ins, diners, movie theaters (when you made out with your date) and those fabulous dances on the weekends with the dj's. And who could forget American Bandstand...yeah, those were the days my friends :)

  • Seems to be missing the "I" key.

  • @maqsad1 it's deliberately omitted

  • @davidpar2 the logic behind that escapes me but I'm positive they had a very good reason

  • @maqsad1 i'm 90% certain it's done so as not to confuse "I" with "J."

the same thing is seen on standardized multiple choice exam answer sheets. "ABCD" and "FGHJ" if up to 8 choices on the question

  • I agree with italcan and trockout, Ah to be young again!

  • Thanks for posting this original.

  • so beautiful.......

  • Love the jukebox - hypnotic! And I remember the song so well...One of my Favorites...a super post!

  • I'm imagining picking up my girlfriend at some some college on Saturday night, she has a flip hair-do, the autumn leaves are on the ground and we are going to some dance...

  • When comes to love songs, it does not get any better than this.

  • @italcan57 when it comes to songs?? thats a retarded thing to say you fat cow

  • I like how your mech moves - a bit slower than my DS160. They say they sped up the mech scanning feature in order to minimize 'downtime' between songs, but I like yours better! Mine seems like it's racing by comparison!

  • @75capriceconvertible HI Bill Yes your mechanism is faster, & I have a DS -160 mechanism, and a mechanism out of a V-200, talk about slow, V-200's were slow when new. I have a B mechanism that is the same as the R, and a late 60's or early 70's mechanism that is fast. I think the latest Seeburg mechanisms also had the ability to just scan in the direction of the selected record, regardless of where the mechanism was restilng, saving scanning time.

  • @maynardcat interesting... I get just as much thrill out of watching it scan/pickup/play as I do from the actual music... but I can understand there would be people who don't care about that; they just want to hear their songs quickly as possible.

  • @maynardcat cool convorsation guys. thanks for wasting all of our time with a meaningless exchange

  • I ran across this and it made me think of Jamie a man I'm falling for and havent even met yet, how is that happening? I don't know but I love it! xoxo Kelly

  • This is one of those songs you just wanna fall in love , breathing!

  • File this song under "Goosebump Music".

  • Wonderful song! Doesn't quite sound like you at the restaurant the other night, tho!!!

  • Very nice work and well done. Love the Seeburg touch. A keeper.

  • One of the greatest, if not THE GREATEST, slow dance songs of all times!

  • first time i heard this song was at dairy top in lamarque when i was a kid on a jukebox almost just like this one, thanks for playing this video for us, i liked it

  • Brilliant ! :)

  • Hey! I love the song AND the Seeburg! Shame on someone else for taking credit for your work! Great video!

  • what a beautiful machine... pure nostalgia!

  • Great song!! I never tire of this vintage music!! Most of today's music is just noise in my opinion!!! The younger generation doesn't know what they're missing!!

  • Sounds just like on my 1958 Seeburg. Beautiful song, done perfectly by The Paris Sisters.

  • Beautiful melody....
