Anyone know if this song is on one of Connie's albums or singles? I don't remember ever hearing it before and I own all her LPs.

@SOLE2SOUL ... It is from the 1977 album "Pure Connie Smith." When she was with Monument. It was released as a single, but was only slightly played.

This is music from the late 70s-the times of horrible disco punk funk junk-and even THAT got worse with grunge and death metal and gangsta rap.

I love traditional country music like this, but I don't think you can build it up by tearing other music down. I despise rap and don't like metal, but the other genres you mention have contain some fine beautiful music. An open mind will allow you to enjoy Connie Smith much better.
