Thanks very much for this tutorial. I'm so happy to finally shoot indoor with yellow light and not getting yellowish shots. really really helpful. Bless you!
I watch all your videos about the Xsi since i just got one, but one thing i would maybe suggest is taking a picture of what your explaining and showing us visual evidence of your explanation. ie. take a picture of a long dinner table with the different ISO settings and show us how each setting is different. I know i would like examples in your videos like that. Great Videos otherwise! Thanks
Sorry in advance for this stupid query but I am a novice. In my camera if I do the same settings, I see the shutter speed as 5" and NOT 1/160 sec. Whats the difference?
@umjain2007 Hi, actually it's a good question. You can't tell, but I have 500W of light on my subject in my scene. Most indoor scenes will have much less than that. In your case, I assume, you just have a lot less light than I do and so the shutter speed is much slower to allow enough light in for a balanced exposure. You can either use the flash, turn on more lights, or increase the ISO, or all three in moderation.
@djnitrolive You're absolutely right. I hope one day I'll be able to provide real world examples, but unfortunately, I just don't have the time/money to do that right now. Many situations, though, because each is so different from the next, really requires a trial and error approach.

what is the difference between Rebel XSI and normal canon eos 450d??
djmag4u 1 year ago
@djmag4u Hi, It's actually the same exact camera. In the US it's called Rebel XSi and in Europe, and maybe other countries, it's known as the 450D.
