It's a bonus level. You skip all act 4s when playing through the game.

i was talking about when playing in the "extra" mode.

Although my guess is no, anyway.

The only things "Extra" mode does is give you only one life and replace all invincibility and speed shoe monitors with "S" monitors, turning the character super when hitting it.

yeess AND add act 4 to all levels, which are after the boss acts. Problem is at least half of those things aren't complete.

so i guess my question is, rephrased, does a level skipping cheat exist in megamix so that i can use it to skip the incomplete ones?

I hadn't played Extra mode at all, so I just went by what I saw on the first level.

There's a level select code, which is the same as the one in Sonic 1, but no "skip level" code.

ah well, i'll give extra mode a miss until they finish thos things.

I'll miss turning into super shadow with one powerup though...

The game was "canceled" before the team was able to properly complete all of the Act 4s. However, the game is back in development and that might be one thing they're working on.

Act 1 and 2 come from Columns 3 and Act 3's music comes from Ristar.
