I think Nobuo Uematsu could have done a lot more with this track. The beginning sounds more like an old black-and-white Vaudeville Western than a phantom train that takes the departed to the other side. I don't think I'm really buying the waltz-ish style beginning from the middle to the end either. There isn't enough phantom or demon in this at all. I'd really like to see this redone at some other time.

0:17 to 0:59 makes me think of a train going really fast and rocking back and forth, with people trying to walk but stumbling all over.
