Yes the psychological part is the worst. I am living in a land where people sit around and devise diabolical torture techniques like raping a person and then continually reminding them of it later. What they said is true, Torture is not about gathering information, but it's about excercising personal power over another person whether it be by a group or a single person. It is a tool of repression used to terrorize people. This nation is cursed and all who participate will not go unpunished.
