  • Excelent guide

  • If this came out for PC on Steam, I would buy it without hesitation.

  • This is definitely gonna help now that GGXXAC is coming out for PSN and XBLA

  • Damn, its like this guy made this tutorial as if he knew GG was coming on psn and xbla..

This is just what I needed <3 .

  • This game IS coming to PSN and XBLA.

My thoughts: About time they want my money!

    And now a Complete Tutorial? >.<;

  • anyone wanna do timestamps?

  • This will come in handy, since GGAC was just confirmed for PSN and XBL. Much appreciated.

  • 480p?

  • This is a very good tutorial. I wanna see more of this.

  • Lol, tutorial for a game that's been out for half a decade. Thanks anyway though.

  • Thanks for making this vid! :)

  • great work, hope it can be helpful to ggxxac newcomers.Best fighting game ever

  • Throws are 0 frames, not 1?

  • Hi, I really appreciated the helpfulness of this guide. Would you consider making a complete tutorial for Blazblue in the near future? Thanks.

  • @Alakazam2047 I'm not sure if them making a tutorial will be necessary, Blazblue already has its own in depth tutorial in game.

  • @ChaosxPaladin The thing is... Blaz Blue is not Guilty Gear. Far from it.

  • @PSNMyfoot I never said they were the same, I said Blazblue already has a tutorial in its game, with complete looks at each characters, a full tutorial (explained by the lovely Rachel sama) explaining the game's mechanics and a challenge mode to show combos for every single character. Unless they were going to add the frame data, go into character specific strategies or even match up data, I don't see what they could add that's already explained in the game's tutorial.

  • @ChaosxPaladin So you didn't really watch this. Barrier on BB is not Fautless Defense, Dusts are not in BB, Neither are FRCs. Tension? Works way different, so does Slashbacks, OTG, Teching... Specially Teching. GG and BB are alike in the surface and REALLY different in depth.

    That's why I said, this isn't BB.

  • @PSNMyfoot Ok you know what, just for the sake of not continuing this argument, I'll admit I was wrong, and you're right. Besides the fact that Aksys games already made a tutorial for the people which is on the BBCS disk and probably still in BBCS:EX, you're right. Dusts are not in BB, FRC's are not in BB, Tension works different, all in all BB and GG are two different games, and they should make another tutorial despite the fact both of them have their own respective tutorials already.

  • @ChaosxPaladin I'm glad you realize it. It probably was sarcasm, but I prefer to believe there is still people in the internet acknowledging their ignorance. That's pretty rare nowadays.

  • @PSNMyfoot Haha yeah I know what you mean dude, so many people nowadays just keep the arguments going. I don't like to keep things going for longer than they should, so its cool really. I understand where you're coming from with the whole tutorial thing and BB/GG not being the same.

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial. I picked up my first Guilty Gear Accent Core plus and have been intimidated by the systems in the game. This will surely explain a lot and enhance the gameplay for me_^)

  • thank you for this

now if only i knew someone who plays this game

  • Good job, guys, nothing new for me, but i find this very helpful for newcomers.

  • That final message is right.

    Let's Rock!

  • this is so cool ,thanks alot, always wanted to get a hold of the game's system

  • After playing GG for a while I still learned some stuff from this vid.

  • really impressive! i have to admit, but i was always overwhelmed when seeing gg notations and stuff.... this video had helped a lot (since i usually plays only ggx in the dreamcast, i have missed a lot of the new features), i think i can learn how to play this game...

... a little late, hope the sequel uses the same base!

  • Absolutely Flawless I couldn't have made a better one.

  • Admittedly something like this would've been great a few years ago. Fantastic tutorial nonetheless for anyone who may think about coming over to the Guilty Gear side however few nowadays they may be.

  • It would've been awesome if Rachel Alucard gave the tutorial.

  • Good stuff. This definitely helped, even at least in jogging my memory.

C'MON ARCSYS NETPLAY SUPPORTED PSN, XBLA, STEAM RELEASE. DOIT DOIT DOIT

  • @ZordCraft well you should be happy arc sys just anounced ggac+ for psn and xbla :)

  • FUCK BB! LONGLIVE GG!

  • Awesome vid. I love GG series so much. Keep it up!

  • New GG coming out after BB is over..? :)

    Keep your hopes high!

  • I've been looking for something like this. Thanks a lot for this!

  • Good shit, this is what we need. Damn, I miss this game. The new fighters might be more popular, but this game is one of the representatives of the best era in fighting games.

  • Will there be character specific tutorials?

  • Also good vid :]

  • very well done. and reinforces the fact that Guilty Gear has amazing music

  • Heavy slash.......Jezus Christ...

  • @HeatIIEXTEND there's quite a discussion about that though. never seen an "official" name in english for it

  • This is brilliant. Well done.

  • Wow. I started from the first Guilty Gear and got addicted to GGXX Slash, but played it casually.

Now i see why this game was so deep.

  • Amazing video capture work.

  • this game looks boring to me.

don't hate me for having an opinion.

  • @shadowkid1993

    how is this boring lol

  • @HeatIIEXTEND matter of opinion, i dont feel any hype at all when i see this.

  • @shadowkid1993 This is an instructional video, it's not meant to instill the thrill of a real match. It is supposed to teach you about the mechanics of the game, which it does very well.

  • makes me want new Guilty Gear... just can't get into Blazblue no matter how I try :-(

  • What's the order of the tracks being played?

  • @cookiesandporn 1. Keep Yourself Alive, 2. Awe of She, 3. Nothing Out of the Ordinary, 4. Holy Orders, 5. Suck a Sage, 6. Simple Life, 7. Bloodstained Lineage, 8. A Solitude That Asks Nothing in Return, 9. Walk in the Dusk, 10. D.O.A.

  • The best game ever

  • Movimentation

  • ill shoot a gun flame at XBL/PSN if they dont put this for download. the wait has been way too long

  • @BiGShell thats what I'm sayin

  • Thank you , sir.

  • Anyway, thank you very much for making this video! It was really helpful, since I'm a beginner.

  • Thanks a lot. I play the game since a while with a friend of mine but he's better than me and I'm no match for him right now. But I managed to get the game and I'll try to train a bit with the techniques showen here as well as the Dustloop forums :3 That's a great game.

  • @Tamae45 How did you get here?

  • @Aether045

    Stalker oo

  • Should have used an narrator

  • That was the best credits sequence I've ever seen. Great job on the video!

  • Is there any way to play GGXXAC online? The only netplay I can find is for GGXX#R and I guess thats outdated compared to this...

    Really nifty guide though.

  • @lolmom officially, no. there is a naomi board emulator though. not sure if its netcode is decent though

  • @lolmom You can find info on dustloop.com.

Even if GG should really never be played online (at least for me) the netcode for the emulator (null dc) works better than expected! Try it out
