I just JB my brand new iPad purchased on 12-22. iPad is model #MB293LL and is running iOS 4.2.1. JB using Redsn0w 0.9.6b4, I am running Win7 and had to run Redsn0w in XP compatibility mode. It has also failed to JB a few times, but it will work. Make sure you then run Redsn0w again and choose boot In tethered mode

@Rekic1 do both steps again use Redsn0w 0.9.6b6 if it doesn't work. try the last step "just boot..." one more time

i tried using the b4 redsnow jailbreak and it freezes during the downloadin jailbreak date screen... i tried using the b5 jailbreak and it freezes as well. i have a 3gs 4.2.1 help!

a jb coming up where you can turn off ipod and turn it on without having to

load it through redsn0w? limera1n was great on 4.1.
