@EIPtuningR32: I question the knowledge or experience of anyone who lists EIP in their name... do some research please, especially about EIP, more commonly known as Engine in Pieces...
@EIPtuningR32 ... I realize you are a fellow tex'r...but you are either too young to have been here during the heyday of EIP, or too naive, but EIP were a sore on the side of the VW tuning world. Through poor business practices and downright deceit that company swindled a lot of money from enthusiasts. Seeing "EIP tuning" in any form is a red flag to us OG's who have been here as long as the Vortex has been a community, and back to '78 in my case with my first Rabbit.
@hortenIX i disagree. trust me. i know that the MK5 has a much better reinforces chassis than the MK4. yeah, MK4 is better looking, but if you are deciding between the two chassis designs and you are looking for rigidity, you would want to go with the MK5.
@hortenIX yeah but dude, KW V3's are a $3000 suspension. and another $1000 in tying both sides of the car together via Unibraces and what not. thats a lot of money. and you dont loose drivability by gaining about 220 lbs. every 100lbs you gain in a vehicle is a loss of 7 hp. so a little over 14 hp? you can get that back and some buy buying an intake, which is around $300 max.
Thats not a mk4..mk4 never got dsg besides they are mk5 speed clocks

Do you know what dB? In the UK there are sound limitation on track days, so wondering if you'd go for res or non res. Thanks.

@nickeroo I think if its road legal then it should be allowed on a track day.

@uberVduber i agree completely with what you said, but my name has nothing to do with whether or not i am trustworthy or experienced around R32's.

It isn't a car, it's a dream !!!
The Mk4 is the original R32 and looks more sporting, that's why a Mk4 ;-)

why not just buy a MK5? they have better, stiffer chassis and come with the DSG....
EIPtuningR32 1 year ago
@EIPtuningR32 they look shit the mk4 owns everything hands down
robertcod4 1 year ago
@robertcod4 they do look like shit, but they are a better car.... thats coming from an MK4 R32 owner.

@EIPtuningR32 lol.. a friend took an mk4 after his mk5.. booth r32..
he wouldn t change again.. mk5 is junger, & it s not a better car, too cozy..
upgrade few minimal things you have a more sporting car with the mk4,
the times on tracks are allways faster with mk4 btw.. it s a sign.

@EIPtuningR32 with 100kg (that s much) more then the mk4, sure it need reinforcements.. :)
on mk4, kw3 upgrade, bars up and down front and rear, thicker torsion bars and you have your stiffness, without loosing the daily use ability..
at least on nuerbuergring the best times are all going to mk4..
