@kbasta1 - He still loves this trick. Although, I'm hoping it doesn't come back to bite me in the Utility ring. Occasionally (if he's really wound up), I'll give him a drop command on signals and he'll flop over on his side. He thinks he's pretty clever. :)

Gunner's such a gorgeous boy! I have a liver-and-white field Springer called Reggie, he's more suggestible than obedient though! Would love to train him to do this, could you maybe make a step-by-step, or link me to something good?

@0XxSasukexX0 - It won't let me add the link to a YouTube video on here...kind of stupid...anyway, if you search for "teach dog to play dead", it pulls up "Dog Tricks: Play dead dog trick" by ExpertVillage. This is similar to how I taught Gunner to play dead. Good luck!

We've got a springer spaniel also called Gunner, kennel name is Gunner of Hoo. He's 14 years old and still going strong

@remingtonspringermom Yes, Gunner and Remington look a lot alike. I remember when Gunner was all legs like your boy. Very cute! Gunner's doing a lot of obedience work right now, from Novice work through Utility. He is a fun little dog to train. I need to film him pretty soon so I can see what he looks like too! :)

@ryanair737400 Yes, he's a "bench" Springer. He's training for obedience competition and he will also show in the breed ring when he matures enough.

I have a dog like this one and they dont deserve to be made to kill other animals. And its not treating them like toys. We give attension and love. So the dog respcts that. What a stupid comment!
