The thing the world will never understand, and I've heard this from Whites and from Blacks and from Coloureds (in the SA sense of the word), Apartheid was far from perfect, it was a haphazard system designed to be of economic benefit and it was culturally insensitive and highly oppressive, BUT it was better than the rule of the Marxist ANC.
