They are officaly ahead of every band in their genra as of 2010

They pulled that off by doing some good remakes of popular tracks and not getting any criminal charges.

One last item , the pet shop boys are very diverse and you might not understand how all their material fits together.

The theme will almost always be about lovers , which is paganistic to me but it sells music.

Pet shop boys logic seems to be "we're going to sing and we don't care if we sound soft it gets the job done"

I'd like to put a stop to any notion that the pet shop boys are out of touch with what constitutes good classical.

In my mind the pet shop boys are as important as any top 80s metal bands.

probably more important because those bands can't provide the same flavor of emotional content.

if you'll notice in this video he's able to sing out of synch with the beat and still make it work and the peice is reliant on that , you don't get that much in rock lyrics.

If you don't like this track , I can understand , it's not for just anybody , it does have a target audiance.

as a musician I find it to be "well framed"

That means there's plenty of raw material in the frame work for me to inject my own musical thoughts. especialy on the neo classical level.

As for the lyrics , woah , I can't deny that the lyrics are sweet and beautiful and provide a feeling of forgetting everything else and just being in love.
