People need to take the movie for what it is. There are movies out there that offend every race, culture, country, religion, and whatever else there is to offend. The movie is propaganda, pure and simple. It is alot like Eisensteins 1938 "Alexander Nevsky", which is about a Medieval war between the Russians and the Germans, but is really about getting Russia ready to fight the Germans. Same goes here, the goal of the movie is to show glorious images of the chiseled White defenders of Western Civilization killing evil Black and Arab Persians for about 3 hours.
Note: Alexander Nevsky is by far the superior film, both artistically and by motives.

Why Persians hated Alexander the Great so much, they killed his half persian son? Alexander loved Persians as you can see in one the movie called Alexander the Great. It is a great movie, it tells you that Greeks always under estimated and forced Persian history to be hidden from any Western Cutlures/History books!

actually, most Persians in this movie we're regular soldiers throwing themselves against spartan shields and getting their asses kicked. Only few of the Persians in the movie were mutants, they we're just the most notable ones. This movie, of course it's gonna look racist when you've got two different countries with two races involved, and you're trying to make one the good guys who are incredibly strong, and the opposite being the bad guys.
Of course, my real complaint about the movie is "nobody's likable". The movie actively tries to make Spartans, a society of people whom the film admits DID kill it's own children depending solely on disabillities or a lack thereof.. into the "good guys".

The movie is propaganda, pure and simple. It is alot like Eisensteins 1938 "Alexander Nevsky", which is about a Medieval war between the Russians and the Germans, but is really about getting Russia ready to fight the Germans. Same goes here, the goal of the movie is to show glorious images of the chiseled White defenders of Western Civilization killing evil Black and Arab Persians for about 3 hours.
Note: Alexander Nevsky is by far the superior film, both artistically and by motives.

actually, most Persians in this movie we're regular soldiers throwing themselves against spartan shields and getting their asses kicked. Only few of the Persians in the movie were mutants, they we're just the most notable ones. I do think that the maker of the comic book (or movie if it wasn't in the original comic book) wen't a little overboard with the fat blob of a executioner with sharp crab-razers for arms.
