IF HEZBOLLAH wanted to IMPOSE or to even push for an Islamic state in lebanon like you re claiming, they wouldnt have had the majority of lebanon s christians of their side!..lol and we as shia oppose the idea of an islamic state in lebanon!! lebanon is beautifull and rich in its diversity!! It CLEARLY states that the OBJECTIVE and VISION of the Hezb.

is that they seak for the Islamic Regime to rule the relations among ALL LEBANESE (he is not saying only the Muslims !) and that it is in the interest of Lebanon (as a nation) to be ruled according to this Islamic Regime! Then by citing the Kur'an el-Kerim he is suggesting that this objective is imposed by God ... so it is irrevocable and non-negociable !

(and you have to also keep in mind, many christians at that time wer collaborating with israel).. when the majority of the shia and of lebanese in general rejected the idea of an islamic state, hezbollah then changed its objectives and declared it through a speech wel known by any lebanese!..go read a book m8!
