I remember well when she came out in the early/mid 80s. Her style was really unique, and of course still is. There were no other artists with a sound like hers. She really exploded onto the scene. Some friends asked me one day "are you going to see Madonna in concert?" And I said who's Madonna?". Then I went to the Virgin Tour and holy shit, I was blown away. Good memories.
