Its a always been a tough track timing wise, and theres lots of little added touches that MK puts into this live version, really well done mate! Another tough one has to be Over There from SATS too... I'm not brave enough to even try that!
Yes so true, there are lots of little "touches" Mark does in the song that I not really could hear everywhere what he does exactly, so my version is a bit of a compromise.
I tried Over there a try a couple of weeks ago, but gave up pretty fast lol. I had a lot of trouble doing those fast guitarlike strokes, also the pick-up selector on my bass is the way wich makes it even harder to do that technique. I can play it a bit with a Flamengo(stanley clarke) style strokes, sounds less good though.
Mate, your version isn't a compromise - its your version!
Flamenco style Over there? Go for it Ramon! I've often thought about doing MK's There Is A Dog, but yet again it seems very daunting! I've never even tried that one..!!!
You'll have to do another Stanley Clarke cover and show off those flamenco skills mate :)
Yes, but i would not mind knowing MK's version 100% aswell :)
I found a cool SC song "we supply" on the tube some days ago that i maybe will learn. That song sounds very similar like the level 42 jam "goodbye Ray"! No flamenco style in it though :)
And i agree, I am starting to like this bass more and more :) The tone is great indeed, I only had to adjust my slap technique for this bass wich took a long time to get used to and the neckdive this bass has is not helping either. But the sound makes it all worth it! :)
Tyvm for the compliment! You are absolutely right about the fingerstyle part, I learned the last part only 2 days ago so its not going that well yet lol. In a few weeks I want to learn the live version fully, but first i need to get this studio version close to 100% :) Timingwise its a though line :P
Well done mate! Sounds pretty damn good to me.

Hi ramon!!! U did it!!! Great job, my friend...
Acording to me, the first finger part ( D-A-E Eb-Bb-F F-C-G G-D-A) should be more fluid...but It's just my point of view...nothing else!
SUperb tone as always!!!
I really enjoyed
When i'll fix my problems on my pc I'll try to post my version...
Sincerely
Fabio
