1. Besides practice giving massages on clients, offer experienced therapists a free massage for feedback. I am a massage coach- receive massage from students for critiques.
2. Also it is very beneficial to receive massage from as many people that you can afford, so you can judge various styles for yourself.
Don't go to Baker College of Muskegon (in Michigan). They have a crappy program. The only instructor who knew her stuff just left. Now I'm stuck there trying to finish my program. :0/
There is a lot of ridiculous drama in that department too.

Everybody giving everyone massages.. Must be a pretty relaxed atmosphere.
