I didn't think "Bronx is Burning" was all that great. I was a good nostalgia piece. But maybe this is because I lived this time as an intense fan of every detail of the Yanks. I was stunned when it was announced that Thurman had died.......still is very sad. But I liked this video so much for what it stands for, that I put it in my Baseball playlist.

i was 13 when thurman died in that plane crash. i was also catching at the time and really looked up to him. the one moment i will never forget is when they panned in on home plate while they had the moment of silence at the stadium. i remember crying along with my dad that night. the yanks are awesome and always will be. thanks thurman.
