@AtlasOmegaAlpha 20 chains is not possible in Fever, but in Puyo SUN and Minna de (GBA), you can create 20 chains. You can also create 20 chains in Puyo Puyo SUN rules on Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary. Hope this helps.

NO! I just only figured how to align combos 'properly' so to speak, first I could only do 8 chains for like a year, then I could do 10/11 max (as on my vid), but that was from all clear setup combo.

Just started constructing combos from scratch - can get 13/14 with Amitie, Arle and the little green guy....ugh forgot his name. Everyone else 12 max except for Carbuncle, the weird purple tomato guy (15th anniversary.)

BTW the handling on PPF is inferior to PP15th. imo.

Umm, the handling in PPF is the best, and was used in 15th Anniversary. They were poor in the GameCube, PS2 and XBOX versions. They're fine in the DC, Arcade, GBA/DS, and PC versions.

Usually freestyling is the way to build chains but, I guess when you've played this series for 16 years it kinda gets old. ^^

Aha! see I have the Gamecube PPF. Not the PC version. I remember, when they used to offer PC PPF as a free download I downloaded it, and the handling was perfect on it.

side note.....getting 14's constantly now. However, because I always end up with a load of 'extras'....those extra dumb puyos, I can never utilise the extra space for any bigger combos. As for 'freestyling', I don't really know any other way, lol. I tried doing this variation and I just fail all the time.

Extra side note: The Super Hard CPU on 15th Ann. is pretty good! I faced Raffine the other day and she pulled a 14 on my ass! Well....it was PP2, and the puyo needed to combo was on 2

Ah, the variation in the video is 3-1 Kaidan, not Freestyle. I prefer freestyle and do that more than I do patterns. I have a mild disliking to them, and an extreme hate for GTR (overused despite it being great for bridging and transitions).

I'm more of an independent operator if you will. It's good to hear progress of other players without judging them. I just do these videos out of sheer boredom. The AI is limited and I feel you should find a training partner to maximise your potential.
