  • And she was an absolutely beautiful young woman, her presence was felt whenever she entered a room. She and her dad were hilarious, he also had a strong sexy presence and swagger, I think his name was Joe or Bob or Bill but he definitely had a sex appeal too that the other skatemoms of the day found hard to resist. haha Those were good times back then.

  • What the heck happened to the Jill who skated this program?!?! Every jump on the money, beauty, speed, confidence... Then she became Jill "Treachery" who you would watch nervously while she bungled things left and right. I was such a huge fan of Jill back in the day but it ended with a stomach ulcer. How nice to see her at her strongest and most consistent.

  • She has the look of a champion, which benefited her greatly. She has clean lines, "honest" jumps, and charismatic presence--and these factors alone were good enough back then to take a skater far. Although nothing is truly special about her skating, the overall package is impressive.

  • Conga music? I didn't hear any conga music in this program. She used Sorceror's Apprentice, Vortex from Duke Ellington's River Suite, Out of Africa and some ballet music whose name escapes me.

  • @ballinagra13 She used that for the Short Program from 1985-1987, and then later from 1989-1991 for the Free Skate.

  • . . . and I have no idea why Fassi had her doing conga music all those years. This program is just breathtaking.

  • One of her best performances.

  • really gorgeous jumps here from jill!
