Very nice job... I'm trying to make a rug as well now.. Kind of oval shape I think..lol.. I have a long crochet tail I thing I would have to sew the first couple of rows.. So now I'm confused on what to do... I'm also from Maine the Western Part.. Thanks you any advise you can give me would be grateful... Thank you.. Brenda
Thank you so much for sharing your art. I live in Presque Isle ME, and the ladies I work with have been making rag rugs the toothbrush style. This method seems quicker and you helped me how to fix the problems I've been having. This will make holiday gifts easier on me. Again, thank you so much!
How beautiful!! I just saw an article in the latest issue of "Jeanne d'Arc Living" (out of Denmark) on crocheted rag rugs and instantly wanted to create some, especially using some bedsheets that had belonged to my beloved mother. Watching your video made me all the more eager to start ... in the past, most of my crochet experience was with crochet cotton making crochet lace. It's been awhile, but I think I'll really enjoy this "new" (for me) form of crochet! Thank you for a lovely video.

i wish i knew how to crochet thats exactly what i want to achieve for a sweet old family home maybe i should learn because your finished product is beautiful
You are as interesting as your rugs, I am like the lady that wished you were her neighbor. This is the best and easiest way to make a rag rug. I appreciate you taking the time to help people learn this hobby. Prudy
This is my favorite crochet rag rug video. After 10 futile attempts at starting, one class, and watching every video I could find, this was the one that worked. It's very well thought out, great dialog, and really good photography. Many thanks.
Thank you for making this video. It is so much easier to learn while watching someone do this. I can't wait to get started (and I have bookmarked this video for reference).
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful art! you have a charming home in a charming town!! I look forward to this project taught by you. Thanks again.
What a nice tutorial. Thanks so much! What a pleasure to see something so professionally done and easy to understand. Your home and your rugs are both beautiful...what an inspiration. (PS I love Maine!)
heres what i do to add more strands: at each end of your strands cut a tiny slit...and put your new strand through the hole in the working strand. put the other end of the new strand, through the hole of the new strand, thats closer to the rug. and pull it right through, till the excess is all the way in.
Wonderful idea on how to add another color....never thought of that and so easy!!! Beautiful rugs! Love the colors you used. Thank you for sharing.......
Hi, wondering where do you get your fabric? How wide the strips? Do you have any more patterns? And your house is beautiful and so are your rugs. Thanks for the video it is wonderful you should make more.
Love your video. I don't know how to crochet, but learning. I'm having a hard time though following you. Will you please but the camera behind you and just on your hands?

Hello..I really like the way you attach 2nd color. How are you attaching the end of your rows. So that rug stays uniform.. Thank you!
