  • haha I think you'll be lucky if he fits in that onesie! I would have a vomit bowl close by. And also, you may want to look into some homeopathics for post-partum bleeding/haemorrage, Shepherd's Purse is commonly used to stop heavy bleeding and has saved many women from hospital transfers.

I'm so excited for you, and a bit jealous since I had a hospital birth which SUCKED lol. Homebirth really isn't supported here in Aus like it should be.

  • @MsEz81 I know!!! I have a feeling he may not fit into his newborn stuff :p How I forgot a vomit bowl I have nooo idea, but thank you for reminding me! I am gonna read up on the Shepherd's Purse today and go from there. I am declining Pitocin after delivery soo any natural remedy for the same idea is great! I've heard Australia doesn't really support it, its crazy!! And I thought the U.S.A was bad for not really supporting it.

  • i believe u have almost every thing ready for big day !

my son is already 2 months now, & i know this time is sooooooooooo excting !

    God bless u.

  • @MJibraan I think I do too, any day now then! I can't believe he is already two months, its nuts! time goes by so fast now.

  • arnica drops are great apparently, also maybe some aroma therapy candles or insence?

Also perineal massage can be done from 34weeks :) im about to start, helps reduce the likelyhood of tearing

  • @newlyweds08 Arnica drops? Never heard of them, but I will look them up and see what you are talking about! I soo wish I could have aroma therapy candles or insence, I use to use them while meditating, but my one kitty has severe asthma so I can't use that stuff anymore :( Yup, I have done some of it since 34 weeks, but I am too lazy and haven't done it since, plus its not my cup of tea.

  • That's awesome that you are doing a home birth! I wish I could consider it but due to being on blood thinners, I am probably going to have a scheduled induction or c-section :( I mean, I guess it's better than a possible hemorrhage huh? haha Awesome video for those considering it!! So helpful :)

  • @babyvlog Aww that stinks, but whatever is best for you and baby right?

  • It is true that it burns when you pee afterwards... that is something that I did not know.

  • @Parkerfur I am totally not looking forward to it!!

  • Loved watching your cat in the background! Haha! You are definitely prepared! Don't forget ice chips (for sucking on) and a relaxing CD (to zone on during contractions)! Hope your home birth goes off without a hitch. Can't wait to meet your little one. :)

  • @JessC00k Shes a little bugger when it comes to that crib, she tries to find ways to sleep in it :p yesss ice chips!! I will make sure our ice cube trays are full! I hope soo too, thanks Jess!

  • You are so adorable! and it's exciting to relive this experience through your's - my daughter is nearly 5 months old already and I remember the anticipation and excitement right before labor was the best part. I will be sending you good vibes.

  • @melodicmint awww thanks! I need the good vibes ~~~~ hehe Did you have a home birth or was it a hospital birth?

  • @nannerskins No I could not have a home birth because I live in a rural - about 50 min from the hospital - no licensed midwife would agree. Sooo, I had a midwife in the hospital. I labored for 2 days (1 at home, 1 hotel) & finally went into the hospital only to find out I was only 4 cm but w/in a few minutes my water broke and I delivered within 2 hours of arrival (all natural). Apparently the baby was face up which caused long labor but mdiwife helped me flip her - only 10 min of pushing! yay.

  • @melodicmint Wow, sounds amazing even if you weren't able to have a home birth! and midwives are great aren't they?! I LOVE mine! Congratulations on doing it all natural, especially with her being faced up, I know that can cause bad back labour as well. and holy 10 minutes of pushing, I doubt I will be that lucky hahaha

  • wow this is exciting! i bet you can't wait now! hehehe

    are you nervous?

  • @noursette29 It is soo exciting!! Yeah, I am really nervous, well not for having him at home but for the labour and delivery part!!

  • are you gonna film your birth? i was gonna say music ,lol but just seen where you put i pod on the end of your video. i hope you have a quick and sfae and easy birth :)

  • @mrsjerriq I am not sure? I want to, but I am always the one behind the camera, but we might be able to get my doula to film it. I know at least I want to get a few clips in through out the labour and same with pictures HOPEFULLY! Me too, thanks!!! :)

  • Hope you have a succesful home birth!

  • @ReillyAJ Thank you! I hope we do too! :D
