Everywhere seems small compared to Tokyo. Everywhere. Spend time there and then Manhattan and London's West End seem relaxed.

lots of different reasons: food, jpop, anime and jdrama, the mix of traditional and modern, cultural contrast relative to the west, its history, architecture and structures, traditions and customs, the language and people, technology, certain oddities and cultural contradictions, natural beauty and landscape, etc.
