Alright, here's what happened, Jesse Lacey of Brand New's girlfriend cheated on him with John Nolan formerly of Taking back Sunday currently of Straylight Run. They have since settled their differences, John Nolan left taking back Sunday, and left HIS songs, he was the primary lyric writer, and when he left, the rights to the songs stayed with the band. My friend Jesse(different one) of Off Broadway has met/talked to each of these bands on several occasions and knows more about music than most.
