  • Oh this isnt a cover of Twisted Sister? That sucks!

  • IT'S SO DAMN UNFAIR THAT I DON'T HAVE A VOICE LIKE THAT

  • I saw the WHO over 20 times and this concert and their songs are relevant today, We're not gonna take it should be the current protestors anthem, and you dont have to be stoned or drunk to enjoy this,

  • puro pinche loko.. ke chido ..

  • Don't trust those hippies in the audience man, they all grew up to be George Stephanopolis and Bill Clinton's! TRAITORS! I was too young to be a hippie thank God! Otherwise I might be some slack-jawed faggot that believes aluminum commercial jetliners crashing into concrete and steel buildings causes them to collapse... like some of you!

  • HEAL ME!

  • im sooo goddamn high right now :) peace all you who fans!

  • best bass line

  • Without a doubt this is one of the best video posts on YouTube.

  • 0:39 : this guy is my dad !!

  • @miragef1tube For real? Awesome! Man he's totally stoned. (Been there, done that at quite a few concerts myself.)

  • @miragef1tube Really? cuz if he is, that's awesome :)

  • Seriously though...no-one touches The Who...

  • Get the audio from this video at searchripgrab doht cohm.

  • All time favorite Who song Hands Down

  • I was fortunate enough to have seen The Who twice. I wasn't disappointed either time! Once with Keith and the other time with Kenny at the drums...,. What an F'ing blast. Ahhh... those were the days.

  • @CoCowboy692000 Ah, lucky to see them with Keith. Sadly I was born in 1992, long after Keiths death in '78, but I've been fortunate to see them 12 or 13 times, around half of which were with John Entwistle. Got my dad to thank for that though, he's seen them 38 times

  • musicvains i most listen to 1-the who 2- bethoven 3- villa lobos 3-bert jansch 4-john hendricks 5-joihnny cash 6-bob dylan 7-louis armstrong 8-ray charles 9-hendrix 10-miles davis

  • @louie455

i play bass too and i thought john was fantastic on live at leeds. the entire tommy performance is incredible.

  • @jloch85 yes but isle of wight has a more bassy tone than leads

  • Great video!

I'm trying to learn to play this song, does anyone know what key Pete is doin the solo in, at the end of the song ? (listening to you...)

  • simply this roger daltrey completed pete townshensd and keith moon completed john entwitsle

  • My name is Perry, and I became aware this year... THE WHO IS THE BEST FUCKIN BAND EVER

  • you just became aware this year?i became aware like 43 years ago

  • @majinbunda hey! im only 15! listen to this! haha i use to be a fag and like Simple Plan... one day i heard Wont get fooled again on the radio! fell in love with it lol and told my dad so he gave me all of his cds!!! i fell in love! XD haha... i saw ur comment below about how all of them completed each other... u gotta look at my vids! theyre all about them and y theyre amazing!

  • the audio and video only match up about 50% of the time in this concert footage...pretty annoying and very distracting (especially if you like to watch pete play).

  • THE WHO DAT!!!! Superbowl 2010

  • Classic Who. Awesome. When was this video done?

  • 1970 at the isle of wight festival

  • 1970

  • no pedals for pete just the amps and guitar , most players would not know how to do it anymore

  • 5:53. Wow!!! Love watching Townsend go berserck.

  • nice, i love this song!

every time i mention it theyll be like oh yea i like twisted sister, and NO fuck twisted sister thats a gay song its THE WHO!

  • Right behind you, i see the millions

  • the isle of wight is way better than the studio version. downrate me, but U CAN'T HANDLE THE THRUTH!

  • No one's going to thumb you down : The Who is a live band, not a studio band. They always sounded better live.

  • Greeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttttt !!!!!!!!!!!

  • This was not the last song that The Who played at the Isle of Wight. They played Tommy in the middle part of their set, with other songs before and after it. Magic Bus was actually the last song that The Who played there.

  • see me feel me and tommy can your hear me were the last songs

  • no they were not. look it up anywhere online

  • i have the dvd Live at Isle of Wight idk if thts it up there^ but pretty sure it was... it has the list on back cover

  • yeah they reorder the songs to a setlist similar to what they would play nowadays (hence see me feel me/listening to you at the end), but in reality, magic bus closed their setlist here and at leeds too

  • ok well lol i have it infront of me and this is wat it says... heaven and hell, i cant explain Young man blues I dont even know myself Water Shakin all over Twist and shout Summertime Blues My generation Magic bus... then it does tommy... yeah ik they play magic bus at the end at live at leeds and prob here.. but the Tommy was a bonus basically

  • i know what it says lol i have the damn dvd. they do not show you the songs in correct chronological order

  • alrighty then haha...... lol i dnt watch it alot idk y lol but great concert... and btw sox sucks lol

  • my all time favorite who song

  • HAHAHAHA 0:36 that guy is trippin balls

  • ive seen the who at the isle of wight on VH1 Classic,it was amazing. other than woodstock, this was their best performance ever i woyld say

  • i watched the who at the isle of wright on vh1 classic, other than when woodstock, this is there best concert

  • wtf??? 0:45

  • puajajjajajajajjaajaja.

  • that guys high as the heavens

  • and he says for godsakes keith stop using the bass pedal and keith blitzed out of his mined looks down and says huh finnally they inject him it keeps him awake but not for long lol and its probably the only show where they shout to the audience hey does anyone play the drums

  • damn was hard to find this song, kept getting Twisted Sister, even when I typed in the Who, like really Twisted Sister was what a one hit wonder with a song by the same name that is total garbage

  • I mean here... We're Not Gonna Take It by The Who is a rock masterpiece and one of the greatest songs ever, but I think Twisted Sister rocks and I don't think the two bands as comparable...

The Who is an immortal legend, while Twisted Sister is an awesome glam/heavy metal band... I don't think their songs are total garbage, try and buy albums such as "Stay Hungry", "Under The Blade"!

    ; )

  • epic

  • Hello, any The Who fans out there? I understand that critics consider Live at Leeds the best live recording ever. Isle of Wight and Leeds were both supporting Tommy. Therefore, please compare both versions of this song to determine what cut is superior. Is there any better way to close the Tommy set? Yes, Keith was more coherent at Leeds. Just focus on Pete's guitar in this cut. This version builds an amazing crescendo. For full disclosure, I own both.

  • I think Isle of Wight is better. All the members play more aggressively on Isle of Wight. The entire album is better. everything is more aggressive and louder. Pluss IOW has more songs that Leeds didn't have.

  • @DUDEplayer69 get the deluxe leeds at like a barnes and noble

  • wow the skeleton suit is pretty kickass!

  • "Hey you smokin' mother nature

    This is a bust..."

In the early days, they weren't a great influence.

But later on, then certainly had a lot to say.

    And still do.

  • i wish i was there!

seen the who in 2006, they finished with this track

    Fucking amazing!

  • stop fuckin about...the who have stop takin drugs after 1967...

  • tommy is the greatest movie i've ever seen.

  • this song makes you raise so high, high, high... but not in the drug effect sense...drugs kill you, man, we've got to refuse them...as the Who did! Pete see you in Rome this summer!!!!

  • He's not talking about weed...

  • thats good because the who didn't do drugs like GN'R Led Zep Eric Clapton and many other rockers i totally agree

  • They did in the early years but then when clean starting with Roger, then Pete, Keith was taking medication to end his addiction but he overdosed and it killed him and John was doing in till he died

  • The Who did amphetamines to stay awake during tours, look it up

  • Ha, exept when moon passed out on stage right.

  • keith moon passed out on tour because keith being his usual step took it one further than the rest of the band and took elaphant tranqulizer before the show and while keith was playing a doctor was called because the manager noticed keith speeding up and slowing down in the songs frequently so the doctor says we need to get in there and give him something to stay awake so the doctor crawls on his hands and knees

  • Did you watch the keith moon documentury?

  • the who has done many drugs.

  • Yeah, so has "Keef". So what!

  • This is my favorite song! lol.

  • Wow. I'm so annoyed I wasn't there.

  • first of the guy at 35 was put there becuase daltrys sining "hey you gettin drunk..."

secondly this is not tommys holiday camp this is Were not guuna take it

And thirdly See Me, Feel was originally the second half of this song so it is in fact a part of this song making Were not gunna take it the finale to Tommy

  • isnt this the song tommys holiday Camp?

  • no it is not

  • awesome john entiwistle's skeleton suit fuckin tight pete townshends.......suit lol its all fuckin sweet

  • This is so beautiful.

  • is this the song played at the very end of tommy? if not wat is

  • its not final its before "See me Feel me"

  • same song

  • To Clarify:

On the original version of Tommy it was on song entitled "We're Not Gonna' Take It"

On the later Deluxe edtion, it was split in to two tracks, "We're Not Gonna' Take It" and "See Me Feel Me/Listening To You"

  • great video. the guy at 35 seconds is... interesting

  • Was Entwistle wearing a skeleton outfit? If so, amazing.

  • The show should have finished with that song. It's a perfect astonishing performance! I think I'm melting... =)~~~~

  • I love this song

  • Finally I find the Who even when I type specific things it still comes up with the Twisted Sister's songs

  • i know, right? so annoying.

  • The concert didn't finish with this song. The final song was Magic Bus.

  • just a note, this is live at the isle of wight 1970, not live at leeds, of which there was no published footage. great song & performance though

  • yes, you're wright, when i was writing the information of the video i was listening to live at leeds. i'll correct it
