Actually Elton John wrote a song for her, the huge crossover hit "Philadelphia Freedom". She rocks! I heard her speak recently at Usana's International Convention and was wowed by her sense of humor,her respect for other players and heart. A soul and mind of a champion. Thank you!

I agree with chrisrei10, professional tennis players generally, and the girls especially, owe a lot to BJK. I love to hear her interviewed, she is always articulate and enthusiastic. Some of the modern players should get a bit of her insight and personality
all the players today are indebted to BJK...she did more to bring tennis to the masses than anyone, male or female.... who knows how many more titles she could have won had she devoted her life solely to her own good...but by tirelessly promoting the virginia slims tour and later world team tennis...she advanced others careers while shortening her own.....a true champion and hero......
