I do not understand the possible/probable/plausible categories. Perhaps because I am Dutch and do not understand the English language well enough, and/or use because I use the wrong framework? Possible and probable are modal logic operators. But what is the difference between possible and plausible? My dictionary doesn't give a clue...
Just read a book called Bak's Sandpile by Ted Lewis. He says:
"Modern systems weren’t designed to be resilient, self-correcting, and secure, but rather to be low-cost, efficient, and optimized for profitability. As a consequence, the critical infrastructures supporting modern civilization have evolved over the centuries into fragile, error-prone systems."
If ihis claim is correct, will the market tolerate the added costs of resilence?
I am very happy to see the vidoe after you give this Risk and Resilience
