He was actively dropping punches all over Thiago Alves, Thiago is just insanly tough and very hard to finish.
He was all over Hardy in his last defense locking in several submissions that Hardy showed his insane toughness and didn't tap to.
He continues to go for the finish in every fight he's active and always working. I'd watch his fight anyday over guys like Shields and Fitch

Water doesn't really affect the grip of their bodies for grappling at the beginning of a match. It probably doesn't matter when they start sweating either. Cause it will be gone by then. But for Vaseline and sweat, that's a different story.

@theanimalisraw222 in the first fight there were 2 things that made Georges bleed that bad: 1. He got poked in the eyes which messed up his vision & 2. His nose got clipped by and uppercut, which probably broke his nose and from that moment on blood kept purring out.
