RE: GAYE DELORME MEMORIAL: In keeping with eveyone being notified of Gaye's continuing legacy there will be an announcement August 21, 2011 after Gayes memorial at the Arts Club Theatre in Vancouver, of the release of his finished CD, American Jumbo. The same afternoon the CD will be available at the Yale fucntion. orders can be made through gayedelorme@yahoo.com for the interim. (Howard DeLorme, brother)
For those of us who had the unbelievable pleasure of working with this amazing player - it's a sad thing to have to say "good-bye" . . . His skills as a composer and player were hard to match, hard to beat. When I had the great privilege of working with him, his quiet but deadly sense of humour was in full force. He will be greatly missed . . .
Amazing to think this guy wrote the song performed by Cheech and Chong called "Earache My Eye". No wonder Stevie Ray Vaughan said this guy is one of the best guitarists. Talk about versatile and great in different forms!

Tom Lavin is a worthless JEW who tries to lock down the local musicians and ruin they talents by pretending to be a big name recording company so he can make money. He fuckin sucks at guitar and got kicked out of Chicago for constantly sucking balls and excessive homosexual tendencies.
Hey Tom, its not the 1950's anymore so learn some new songs, pussy.
We are so lucky to have such a Great Canadian Artist. Big fan!! I am a very lucky person to have had the opportunity to be in the company of such a talented person. Keep Writing and preforming.
I love his music. My dad has the..Blue wave sessions cd, I think..wow, Its incredibly hard to find anything to download/buy from him.. even to look up the lyrics online its..impossible to find.. I've grown up listening to my dads CD of it..Love him.
Nice to see I'm not the only one out there who loves Gaye's music. The man is a huge talent and it's always annoyed me that he's not received the popular acclaim he so richly deserves.
Gaye has always been an amazing musician. Joined with Jerry Adolphe,a monster drummer, and Brian Newcombe, on wicked bass,,...It is priceless! Bless you hearts for posting this great performance. Can't get enough of them.
