  • damn some of this looks pretty brutal. Great stuff from Owen and Shamrock

  • So...Wheres Stu???

  • I'd like to remind everyone that this happened well before your grandma and everyone else started following UFC

  • "WHOOO! I did it all myself!"

Owen Hart was a real legend.

  • How the hell did stu train folks in that little ass room and that low ceiling?

  • lol! I remember this! The ending is so funny :-)

  • We miss you Owen. RIP.

  • 4:57 Lawler kills me with how hard he starts laughing lol

  • 4:20 = OUCH! lol

  • 4:57 - Poor Stu must have spent half of the dungeon's revenue on drywall. And Shamrock is lucky there was no joist where his head hit, otherwise the drywall would have been the least of everyone's problems.

  • nice...sick brawl

  • Hahaha Lawler's having a good time.

  • When Shamrock came in, it pretty much reminds us of when we were kids, and did entrances from our backyards, or the front door.

  • did anyone except me think benoit's crippler crossface at the end? RIP benoit, hart, and gurerro

  • Ahahah WCW couldn't pull ths match off.But WWF made it great.

  • This is one of the more awesome matches I've ever seen. This was very intense and physical.

  • Awsome match . i used to have this on tape . classic match. Rest in peace owen hart .

  • GREAT MATCH!!

  • @ortonfan20 A tarp.

  • awsome match somthing i have never seen before but that was what WWE was during this time period they did things nobody has seen before and this was one of them great match i mean when owen put shamrock through the floor that must have hurt and when they got slamed into the walls it must have hurt a lot i can only imagine RIP Owen Hart there arent matches like that anymore its a shame

  • Now if only Martha Hart would stop trying to deny everyone of Owen's legacy as a wrestler. If he were still alive, he would still be able to tie pretty much every one on the current roster into a pretzel. No one backstage ever had a negative thing to say about him, and still don't to this day. It's like she sues at the mere mention of his name.

  • @SnakeMan227 Martha blames wrestling for Owen's death. I think most fans can sympathize with that. However, Martha doesn't seem to be able to differentiate wrestling from its' fans. In her book, she generalizes wrestling fans as stereotypical idiot rednecks. Most fans want to remember Owen for the great man he was and want his memory to live on, but Martha won't allow that. At least not if you heard of Owen via wrestling.

  • hold up wasnt this after vince screwed bret

  • I remember watching a match like this when I was a kid, i didn't know why or where it exactly took place but I knew it was some type of training room and that Owen (one of my favs as a kid) was in it. I just always thought it was a hardcore match, that's why i couldn't find it until now.

  • @CNFearless are you sure you're not thinking of Mankind vs. The Rock in the Empty Arena Match? that was hardcore

  • @rwfmade naw man, Owen Hart was involved in the match I remember from my childhood.

  • That house should be a national monument. The Harts should NEVER let the dungeon die.

  • You think Stu's upstairs watching this on tv? Lol!

  • I wanna go to that house one day. I MUST!

  • mum ken started it im telling dad

  • Better than wrestlemania 27 main event

  • they should have had a stereo with entrance music playing on it like a home fed lol

  • It's Creepy & It's Spooky LOL.

  • I thought this whole thing was stupid.

  • @yosu79

I'm pretty sure she was like "Owen tell you and your friend that dinner is ready" LOL

  • Owen Hart was like "Yes! I am rule! You are fail"

  • shamrock was sooooooooo stiff

  • Man, that must have been one badass place to train. My only gripe is there are no mats on the walls. That's a disaster waiting to happen...that's why in most martial arts or mma dojos there are mats covering the walls

  • not bad...

  • lol...I love the way owen casually walks out as if he's going up to get a glass of milk or something

  • @flipgood89 HE PROBABLY WAS...IT WAS HIS HOUSE! IM NOT A NUGGET!

  • Owen then went to go take a post-match dump...

  • both guys were finished after the first couple slams on the concrete floor.

  • @JohnnyHalox

the wwe was rated pg before it made the move to Tv-14 and it was still good

  • Comment removed

  • lol "he hit the dumbbell with a dumbbell"

  • owen should have said: mom i won!!! wheres my fruit rollup?!?!?!

  • Run him into the washing machine, if it's down there. LOL.

  • owen rules

  • Nice owen did it all by himself!!!!!!!!!!

  • THIS IS THE DUNGEON?!! LOL!!

This whole time everyone's saying" no one could survive the Dungeon" and people die in that Dungeon". This is the FUCKIN DUNGEON Are You Serious?!!

  • @hbk2221 Lol. The trainning was much, much harder.

  • @hbk2221 it's not the building itself it was stu hart who thoughts the best way of training is to put you in a hold which make you pass out for a couple of minutes =D

  • SEVERN RULES!!

  • I'm sorry if this a stupid question, but is this real? I mean, it looks like they're really fighting.

  • @dylanrocks83 na its worked but its stiff (means they hit much harder then normal)

but they still always protect the head and neck

  • man those bumps are on pure concrete!

  • @CoryStuteville Martha wont allow it

  • Owen Hart. KING of the Spinning Heel Kick !

  • & for all those mma fanboys, owen was a legit submission wrestler, just take a pic about the hsitory of the dungeon and owen's amateur career ..he choose a career that most people would have chosen in 80s when it came to wrestling or mma.

& the heel pro wrestler owen hart was a gem too. rip the black hart

  • god I would of loved to see ken or owen make cena cry like a bitch

    rip owen

  • lol

  • Great match and nice finish by Owen!

Also lol at JR not able to tell the difference between a barbell and dumbbell!

  • why do people watch fake fighting?>

  • @XxTheTowlsonxX

Why do people watch sports, when they can play it?

Why do people watch over dramatic soap operas?

Why do people watch "fake" movies over documentaries?

It's entertainment and entertaining. To each their own.

  • @xgooglex yh but this is soooooooo bad its juat boring as its fake, u can see them miss each other whn they hit which makes u laugh as it looks ridiculous and desperate.

  • @XxTheTowlsonxX Hahahaha You can see them miss punches and kicks?Maybe in the WWE,but not in other wrestling companys. 1:31 Did you hear Shamrock punching Hart? Nothing fake about that.

  • @XxTheTowlsonxX

there's nothing fake in taking a powerbomb or a spine buster and jumping of 15 foot ladders in barb wires and flamaing tables. pro wrestlers have the hardest life than any other profession

i'll like to see you take a couple naked chairshots in your forehead and then say..its so fake

  • @sayanroy36 if the strikes arent full contact and the holds applied for finish its fake so all prowrestling is fake by definition.

  • @billysue2

oh yeh? what are you ? a little mark? then movies , music, dance, circuses, tv shows & everything in our lives except sports are fake right? PRO WRESTLING is a performing art, a very tough one at that & scripted doesn't make it any bit easier.

the punches aren't full contact and neither are the submissions, but any power move as in supplexes, bodyslams, clotheslines & so on are absolutely real & the mat is wood, so it absolutely hurts. & then there's the hardcore stuff & blading.

  • @sayanroy36 ha ha ha , ur one of the few people tht believe its real??? its supposed to be fake u dik, they are taught how to hurt them as little as possible and work on it as much as they can so they can make it seem more realistic. if u honestly believe im wrong, then u need to open ur eyes n take a look at the fights.

  • @XxTheTowlsonxX

did you even bother to read what i wrote??

of course its scripted and pre determined, but the moves they do in the ring still takes years of practice & hard work to do them safely something that you wont be able to do without breaking your neck & i know i thing or two about it as i've worked in the business.

you can not fake a bodyslam or a chair shot & pro wrestlers have one of the roughest schedules, 300 days of injury & pain, there's a reason most dont make it past 50

  • @sayanroy36

they don't make it past 50 because they deal with their pain with massive amounts of pain killers and cocaine and anything else they can easily get their hands on.

  • @1MoreRoundbrother

yeah exactly...& where does the pain come from? taking bumps, getting beat up & slamming their bodies on a wooden apron 300 days a year, 24/7 on the road..there's no time for recuperation/surgery. if you take time off, you might not see you'r name on the roster when you return...this business doesn't have an off season.

  • owen, owen ,owen, owen, owen

  • He hit the Dumbbell with a Dumbbell! YES, this is Great!! Much love Owen.

  • That was awesome! Owen Hart used to Lie, Cheat, and Steal even before Eddie Guerrero made it cool! R.I.P. to both Owen and Eddie

  • bret hart vince mcman match at wm26 should of been at harts Dungeon

  • what year was this? this is classic

  • "and then there was Owen" Amen to that. I LOVE when Owen puts Shamrock's head through the ceiling!

  • That was a great match. Too bad they don't have any more matches like this anymore. Least they should be backt their boxing tourney they had one year.

  • For those asking if its real or not, watch 1:36 to 1:44. I have NEVER seen someone just lay there prone while their opponent went from submission to submission. Plus, would you slam someone into a wall in a real fight? I love how Shamrock whips him into the wall on the other side of the room. Or what about German suplexes? Oops, I just saw a Franeksteiner

The reason it looks semi-real is because Shamrock is a real fighter and knows how to act the part. You dont see Lesnar doing F-5s to people.

  • 2.45 JR- whats funny, why u laughing ? :L:L

  • this is my favorite match that doesnt take place in a ring.

  • Classic

  • I love at 2:41 how shamrock hits his head on the wall on his own

  • this looked really real was it?

  • @TheCitrusdude ofcourse it wasn't, why would it be, just good choregraphing, prob because it wasnt live.

  • @TheCitrusdude of course it's real. Are you implying some pro wrestling isn't? MMA is the fake stuff. Shamrock couldn't even become heavyweight champion in the WWF. Owen was like.. "Hey Shamrock.. you wanna go for real? Meet me at my house in the basement. My mom will let you in through the kitchen."

  • @itssteveufool dude so you are saying Shamrock is just a 2nd card? owen cheated to win man get the facts straight shamrock owns all. and no im not 5 yrs old i hate cena

  • @TheCitrusdude What's a 2nd card? Mid-card? My response was complete sarcasm. I know you're not 5, I would guess somewhere between 10 and 14. If you took my response as anything more than a joke, I feel sorry for ya.

  • i just surprise that the Harts let them in their house and the cameras and audio people in their basement

  • lmao at king's laugh @ 4:58...but yeah this was a great match by these two.

    R.I.P Owen

  • lmao @ owen's "bad guy voice" after he cheats and wins. the scrap looked good

  • hmm I missed this back in the day, but glad I saw it now. In real life im sure Owen wouldve won again...Stu use to stretch the shit out of the boys back in the day

  • @Fuckmyfatassoneeye

(Stu use to stretch the shit out of the boys back in the day)

    That sounded really gay.

  • @ColonelCarnage almost everything in wrestling sounds real gay

  • This is a match with two of the best submission wrestlers ever in a submission match in the dungeon, with Dan Savern as the referee, with Jim Ross and the heel Jerry Lawler commentating. We will never see wrestling like this again.

  • Damn I wanna see that place someday!

  • @dixonmixin10 Too bad Bret and family sold this place not too long ago. This place is historic!

  • that was awesome! i bet they were sore the next morning.lol..RIP Owen

  • Wow, lol I thought the dungeon would be more...can't find the word. But this is awesome! basement brawl match. Lol R.I.P. Owen.

  • that was the greatest finish ever

  • "I did it all by myself!"

  • this is good

  • thanx for postin this

    R.I.P OWEN!!!

  • dan severn is hard as nails

  • i wonder if owens mom made them food after

  • @shadow188 probably, I wish thay could give a shoot interview to Ken SHamrock and ask him about this match. I bet he has great fond memories. R.I.P Owen

  • @shadow188 lol too funny man but probably.

  • @shadow188 owen probably drank his milk and took his vitamins before and after the match

  • @shadow188 They could've done a comedy spot to that effect. Owen's mom comes in right in the middle of the match with some milk and cookies. "Owen, honey, I brought you some.... oh, you and your little friend are wrestling, huh? I'll just leave these right here..." Total June Cleaver.

  • @tokokuken I'm a traditionalist and I even found this idea entertaining!

  • thank you so much for posting this!!!

and thanks to the wwe for not removing alot of these

  • RIP Owen

Also, the Dungeon looks like my grandma's cottage. With mats in it.

  • the finish is awesome

  • 2:43 "I'm going to bounce his head, 10 times, dong, dong, dong, dong.."

  • reminds me of a backyard or basement wrestling match 2 amatures would do but its an awesome match cause owen

(rip) and shamrock are in it i bet if owen was alive today and he could learn hitting and stuff he would kill people in ufc

  • R.I.P. stu & owen hart they were great wrestlers

  • Damn, what a beat down. My favorite match, makes it look legit.

  • This was a very memorable match. Owen was always awesome! I really miss his style.

  • brutal y dont wwe do stuf like this nomore instead it has main events that involve jeff hardy lmao

  • @wolfmarl exactly.. remember armagedon in 2004 ? john cena's street fight. Now cena is a shit marine.. RIP OWEN

  • What an awesome match. Should've both been pushed way more than they were. Well ok not Shamrock....

  • "I think this is the first ever official televised match in the famous hart dungeon" This is the only match from the dungeon jack

  • @RelaxingGhost the only match in the dungeon that was on wwe tv, but there were more matches in the dungeons, for example there is a harry smith vs tyson kidd match on youtube from the dungeon

  • i wonder if stu got a chance to stretch shamrock im sure hed of loved too

  • luv this match

  • great match. I would have loved the chance to train in the dungeon.

  • That twice someone has knocked out Shamrock & "made him tap" like that.

  • King Lawler: "You think Stu's upstairs watching this on TV?" HAHAHAHA!!

  • And he asks where Stu is about three other times.

"Run him into the washing machine if it's down there."

  • "i did it all by myself" haha

  • Dan Severn reminds me of Mike Haggar.

  • Lol, that was some funny shit at the end.

  • Lol if owen would have said "i am not a nugget!!" at the end this would hav been the greatest match ever!

  • head thru drywall looked like a knock out/lol

  • Owen using the pipe to lift himself up is one unique spot.... not gonna see that again anytime soon.

  • i wanna go there one day ^_^

but watch out for Stu thats for sure ;)

  • Jerry Lawler's laugh at 4:59 is priceless.

  • this is the best match under 8 minutes thats ever happend

  • They should have let Royce Gracie fight Owen in his basement.

  • this was one of the greatest rivalries

  • lol ha ha ha ha ha i love this match. it's better den hell in a cell. r.i.p. owen

  • Is that Dan severn as the refere

  • "whooo, i rule in the dungeon. i did all by myself!" this is awesome

lawler is great. "he hit a dumbell with a dumbell" ROFL

  • R.I.P. Owen Hart

  • lol i have that ppv on VHS :D

  • one of the best matches ive ever seen, kicked ass.

  • Owen Hart dint hold back.

see you one day mate,we all miss you.

  • This is one of my favorite matches ever in WWF.

  • fukin hell wot a match dat shit was awsome

  • This was the only intertesting match of 1998 to see, minus JR's lousey redneck voice

  • BAH GAWD

  • This was freakinq AWESOME!

  • I fuckin' love this match. I watched it just now just to see Owen put Shamrock's head through the ceiling again lol.

  • ken and the hart family were close friends

  • I love Lawler's laugh at 4:58, thats classic.

  • i wonder if this was real wrestling

  • I actually really liked this much.

"Whoooo!!!.....I did it all by myself."

  • I love how in a "submission" match Owen tried the spinning heel kick. Imaging seeing that in UFC LOL

  • There's a guy fighting in Japan that did a moonsault stomp onto his opponent. Wouldn't put it passed seeing other wacky spots.

  • I bet when stu was alive this was the first time he seen someone dominate his son in his home field advantage

  • ufc is gay

  • AGREED

  • actually lance storm and jericho wasnt trained in the dungeon

  • This is the best shit i have ever seen.

  • stupidest fucking ending good theme though

  • jerry lawler got to b the first ever comedian/legendary wrestler in history of wrestling!!!!!!
