hi again , just finished my fully modified avion micro plane , it has a profile fusalage still retaining the carbon tail boom setup ,i turned the motor around reversed the wires so its now mounted on the nose , works much better i removed all the electronics and remounted them made a single wing 14 inch x 5inch tapered by half an inch + an 80mah 3.7v battery gives it a flight time of over 30 mins in a single charge , all in 11.7g , collecting vids to post soon regards jinx

i inserted a 1mm x 15mm long carbon rod just infront of the reciever and switch so it stuck out about 5mm higher than the switch like night flyer said its very easy to catch it or even damage it , but trust me this little plane is so much fun , mine now weighs 11.8 grams instead of factory 9.6 , also now got a 3.7 volt 138 mah battery instead of 3.7v 30mah also longer wing tips , oh the fun you can have with a £10 toy lol

these planes are great ! i changed the 3.7 volt 30 mah battery in the plane for a 3.7 volt 75 mah i got over 30 mins flying time + i added 2.5 inch's to the top wings (taped on) lol it glides fantastic + im sure the range has increased and the power . it flys much better outside a small wind has this thing slope soaring fantastic , had mine well above my house in height , ps keep up the great vids regars jinxy

i agree that your switch protector added too much wieght. mine would climb very easy at 3/4 throttle.

after i had this one, i got the avion IO. that one is 2 channel FM, and uses a servo for the rudder. its larger and can be flown outdoors. mine was $90 and was worth the money.

Its called the J Perkins Mini Aviator - Exactly the same model as the one shown in this vid. You can get it delivered for under £11. I dont reccomend them though, you need a fairly large indoor space as you can see...

The propellor torque-rolls it to the left making it turn left easier, but turning right harder. I'm sure it can fly right hand circles but with it has to make a wider turn wich probably was to large for this room.

I bought it at radio shack because they were having a clearance sale and I got the last one. You cant take it off from the ground. I just throttle up then throw it. You need a large space to fly it indoors, which I dont have, so I just fly it on a calm evening after sunset. It wont fly if it is sunny because the sun interferes with the infrared signal.

i've just finished building a gulfstream g650 from scratch i built it up over 6 months and used small piece of alliminium for the body and plastic for the wings and tail and instead off an engine i used 12 small power fans through out and hooked it up to a transmitter so each one is all joined for speed i also put a working landing wheels

Well elevators make planes go up and down and so do motors.

Speed the motor up on this one, you go faster and have more lift, so the plane goes up, and vice versa.

This is such a cool plane! The only downfall is that its IR. You can however transplant the radio out of an ifly VAMP ornithopter, if you do this properly then you can fly it outside with a range of about 300 feet! but stock its too much fun indoors!
