- Minecraft (it's not actually a finished game yet, but it certainly feels like it and it's aweseome! .. It's a 1st person survival/building/sandbox game)

- Nethack (my favorite rogue-like, dungeon crawler, game)

- Dwarf Fortress (It's a very, very good strategic/adventure/sandbox rogue-like game).
