You still reply. I haven't heard from you in a while. Hope you are still churning out good music. Like I said, I come here for a dose of this tune most days. Being a piano player, I'll like to transcribe this and play on the piano sometime. Can I get the tabs if possible. Felicitations et bon travail.
@jeromeeusebius Yes I still reply :) I've joined a reggae band called Dreadlocksless and we had a nice concert with artists from Martinique (a french Island in the Carribean) namely Baby G, Straika D and Matinda di Lion. You'll find some videos on YT, check it out (I'm on the right with the hat). Only condition if you wanna transcribe it on piano: post your video on YT afterwards! Give me your email by PM and I'll send you the tab for intro and theme (I dont have the rest on tab). Thanx man
I'll admit that I thought that this was going to be cheesy when I first saw this, but dude, that was awesome. Wish Ii could play like that, Keep up the good work.
Zitoune22, I come here everyday to get a dose of this song. As a reggae fan, i can't get enough of this song. You are gooooooooooood. Song is refreshing each time.
Oliver, this is a great. I love the cry baby riddim, but your guitar mix takes it to a whole nother level. This is great you should keep this up. I play piano, and I want to dry to see how I could play this there. Can send me the file u mentioned.
Please try and keep up the good work and release this sometime. This is really inspiring. This is superb.
Bloody. I'll pay to play this. Zitoune22, what scale are you playing? My untrained ears say F (or E) major. Can you post tabs for the first few licks?
I'm playing in G minor pentatonic scale, and a little of A# major (which includes the G minor pentatonic scale + some other notes). Send me your email and I'll give you the tab for the intro and the theme (thats what I had the time to do in a txt file until now)
please forgive my ignorance, i later saw your responses to peoples comments. once again very good. you seem to capture the soul and pain often aligned with true roots reggae. keep jammin. and PUT UP MORE VIDS PLEASE!
Thanx 16StoriesHigh, I'll put some new videos next year, thanx for your patience (quite a lot of work right now but trust me there will be more and 2007 is almost over :) )
awsum bro i play my self and was aye bit lost on songs rasta songs that is.was about to give up. till i had aye listen to your tune it gave me aye boost back. thank you bro. aotearoa. thats new zealand . keep up the good work.
Wow tyazen24, thats the nicest comment I've received so far! Well nope I dont have a brother called Phillipe neither an uncle called Daniel ;) I know there are others "Emery" than in my family around here... Subscribe to my videos, Ill make more later!
simply beautiful... feeds my soul and that's what matters.... Thanks mate! Hey Olivier, do you have a brother called Philippe and an uncle called Daniel?
Hello, the instrumental - without the guitar - is "cry baby" and is on a compilation of songs with that instrumental. I don't know which one of these songs is the original, one that is quite known is "as far (as I can see)" from Elephant Man.
Hola amigo! Tambien hablo espanol. I'm using a POD-XT (from line6) with screamer stomp/drive effect, a little sweep echo and around 60% medium hall reverb. About the backing band I'm not able to tell you, I only know the intrumental comes from birchill records and that these are jamaican folks but I don't know the backing band name. Many jamaican artists have sung on that (like Elephant Man and Sizzla)
Very good!!!!
