Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, to Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks, two farmers, in a one-room log cabin on the 348-acre (1.4 km2) Sinking Spring Farm, in southeast Hardin County, Kentucky[3] (now part of LaRue County), making him the first president born in the west. - Wikipedia
Thanks! I dont know where you are located but if you ever get the chance you should check it out! The inside was closed the day I made this video or i would of filmed in there too.
This was pretty interesting I just watched a doc. on his death I heard some fart sticks tried to steal him outta there but the thing they had him in was way to heavy to remove.
I think I prob seen the same documentary you did. Yes it is true that graverobbers tried to steal his body. The vault that you see in my video that is directly behind the new tomb on the bottom of the hill was the original place where Lincoln and his son were held for a short time before he was moved to the new one. Thank you for watching! I plan on doing another video sometime like this hopefully.
Geez, thanks Blair. Never had an opportunity to visit Springfield. Notice how Abe's nose is real shiney? Everyone touches his nose. lol. So, I tried to read the plaques....is he really buried further up on the hill with his 2 sons? Poor Abe, he really suffered dealing with the war. I have heard there are more books written about Abe than any other modern man today. Nice job.
I live about an hour south of Springfield but I do go there every now and then. Usually when my band has a gig or show there. Springfield has plenty of things to do that is for sure. I still want to go into the brand new Lincoln Library Museum. Supposedly there a lifesize holograms that tell you the history and story of Lincoln.I think that would be awesome. The vault is directly behind the monument on the bottom of the hill. Not sure about his sons though. I will have to look that up. Thanks!
what's the name of that music?

I don't think Lincoln was born originally in Illinois. I think he was born in Kentucky. (Or is that wrong)?
