I learned to ride a motorcycle when I was in 6 grade I started with a 100 cc bike and now I am riding Honda CBR 1000RR all I wanna say is if you wanna learn chose a bike with a less pick up and cc.
i started laughing a little seeing how he puts his leg over the bike at the beginning... but man ill say its kinda funny how he did that... glad hes alright tho
@timostimostimostimos you've gotta be kidding me... I went and got my m1 permit and jumped right on a bike... Didnt have any problems and never rode one before...
@spaceman8988 What directions? I taught myself how to ride... Well actually idk if you can say taught cuz i just hopped on and rode and i was extremely comfortable on it and it seemed all so natural to me..
WHY ARE PEOPLE TALKIN ABOUT BRAKES ? THEY DIDN'T TELL HIM SHIT. BRAKES ARE THE LEAST OF HIS PROBLEMS. U SHOULD NEVER LET OFF THE CLUTCH UNLESS U TRYIN TO TAKE OFF. GREAT VID THO. PERFECT MUSIC LOL
not too smart they let him learn n a stunt bike.....stunt bikes have bigger rear sprockets so it has a much higher torque than stock sprockets, sorry for my bad english :D
This is why anyone who asks if they can ride my bike i always tell them to look on Youtube for people learning to ride and let them figure out the answer for themselves.
Don't ever buy a 250 , youll get over it in a week an have to spend more money to upgrade three months later , better to just start off with a 600 an take it easy ,after 5k miles under your belt youll be ok
@EveningGoDs why not get the $2500 250 for those first 5k miles then sell it on craigslist for $2300 and buy the 600? if you cant afford that then you shouldn't own a bike. having seen it myself i know for a fact that a Ninja 250 accelerates from 0-60 at just about the same speed as an 04 Mustang GT which is more car then a lot of people can handle. here is another shocker not every buys a sports bike for speed some buy it for an easier commute to work, a used 250 that gets 50mpg is hard to beat
did it really seem like a good idea to let him ride it when he didn't even know how to crank it up? that's the easiest part. not freaking out when u dump the clutch is the hardest
@buckwheat40 What the hells the point of buying a CBR1000RR if you don't know how to ride. If you want to get a starter bike you're better off starting on a 250, 500, or 650 parallel twin or single cylinder. Starting off with a high end superbike is like giving your 16 year old daughter a Ferrari Enzo for her first car. It will never reach it's full potential, you'll be scared shitless to ride it, and it's a waste of money
@buckwheat40 Also, you saying to go out and ride such a powerful sports bike without practice is irresponsible, if someone were to read your comment, trust you, and think it was OK to start with a Hayabusa and have absolutely 0 riding experience then went out, bought a bike like that, and killed themselves because they couldn't handle it, would be the result of your carelessness and would also be your fault
@buckwheat40 I took a 2 full day training course on how to ride and we rode and practiced all day. Even after that, if i had a 600, i would've panicked and done something stupid like that guy in the video or gone way too fast just cause it's that easy. they're just too powerful until you know how the handle a bike and that only comes with lots of practice and experience, so safest option is a 250 and i'm glad i got one.
@lenmetallica After the course i bought the 650. I was scared to death but after three weeks i was comfortable on it. I never took it to its full potential till after about two months of riding it. 250s are for people who lack self control.
@gaeta34 Unless you have strict control and take the bike seriously and trust your self not to be an idiot, then sure get a 600. But, most of the newbies don't realize how much power they have underneath them and when curious human nature kicks in, logic flies out the window and then that turns into the stories you hear on the news. Glad to see people like you who are able to learn on 600s fine
if this was my bike, i'd be running over to pick up my bike before asking if he's alright and i would probably kick him in the bollocks on the way over to the bike!
1. I hate laughing at others misfortune, but I was.. LOL.. 2. That song is cool, and different! 3. The most important thing about learning to ride... how to use the brakes!
I think somebody it trying to collect on there insurance. Because there is no way that should have happen. Especially knowing the guy could not ride. Just my 2 1/2 cents
@ylism A beginner tries riding a motorcycle and falls, scraping his arm. And you think it's an insurance fraud? Let me guess, you also think the triangle represents a hidden cult called the illuminati? dumbass
@wwfww he wasn't... he let the clutch out a little too fast, so he slid back on the seat. he tried to hold on, which twisted the throttle. Ive seen it happen before
a big bikes ok aslong as the beginners has had training on a bike, many people in the uk do test on 125s and then go get a 600 and never have a problem. idiots that lets there friends go on them and then are suprised they fail dont deserve bikes, i hope there insurance bent them over
