All the Tom and Jerry cartoons directed by both William Hanna and Joseph Barbera at the MGM animation studio are the best. Chuck Jones' cartoons come in a close second, everything else is in the middle, the ones done by Hanna-Barbera's studio except Tom and Jerry Kids are mostly awful, and the Russian-animated Tom and Jerry shorts are the absolute worst.
