I also got a Spark 20 from 2009. I've upgraded it with a few parts, and now it weighs 10,180 kg. I'm hoping to reach the magic 10kg for a fully!

i would never choose this bike yer its the lightest but with onlt 1.5 inches of travel u might as well have a carbon hardtail

i have the 2009 model Fuel Ex 9.9 and im much more impressed with its features not saying that this isn't a good bike

well i just upgrade the bike with a full groupe of XTR so now the bike looks great and with exellent performance. soon i will upload a new video show the bike with a new look

Im sorry but 5000 isnt such a good price... Its definitely an awesome bike but you definitely also pay for the brand. Just look at the xt crankset, brakes and derailleur. Theire good, Im using them myself, but id definitely be expecting more for 5000 bucks

$5k is cheap for this bike, MSRP is $13k. Most carbon bikes cost around this price.
