@MaiZ1969 I also made this video 2 1/2 years ago. You really shouldn't be on 2.2.1 or 3.0 firmware for that matter. Most people are on iOS4 or iOS5.

@wrtng6 Thats called DFU Mode, it's perfectly fine just hold the home and power buttons for 30 seconds till it boots up.

No you music downgrade to 3.0! If you downgrade anything under 2.0 then you will never have the App Store again. Also read the title! You might mess up your ipod touch!

If you are using a mac via boot camp then you have to hold the second shift key on there. Also you may have to use another shift key on your keyboard.

i don't know this downgrade probably doesn't work anymore because everybody is using a official releasee version of the 3.0 when this only works if you have the developers early release of the 3.0 firmware.

Try to put it into DFU Mode. You could always search google for software to put your iphone or ipod into recovery mode then

restore to 3.0, sorry it didn't work. I might remove the video because the video would only work if you were on the developers early release 3.0 firmware.

You have the official firmware then, hold your home and power buttons on your device for 30 seconds and it sound reboot.

This means you are using the official 3.0 firmware not the final release, all yo need to do is download the 3.0 firmware i have in the description because it's the final release (the firmware you need) and then restore to it, and then follow the instructions in the video to downgrade.
