As a driver in the American Iron series (mustang) that driver is not so good... sheesh.... But those little B-spec cars can be a handful around tight courses [VERY difficult to pass]. Those fox bodies have the suspension of an ox-cart... it takes ALOT for them to drive right. BUT once you do....

A 88 GT actually made 225hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. Also it's technically a 4.9 liter. Also a 88 civic used a SOHC 1.6 liter with 92hp so it actually 45.91 hp per liter for the Mustang and 57.5 for the civic. The 62hp 1.5L was in the CRX HF which was one of the most effecient cars, and slowest, that you could get at the time.
A 87 Mustang GT/LX 5.0 had 225hp which was only 10hp less than the Corvette in 87. Also the most powerfull honda sold in america that year was the prelude with 110hp.
and you probly have a 2 inch dick. it may have only put out 35hp per liter but again they had limits on the emissions and the 5.0 had 4 more cylinders to burn fuel in so they had to cut back on power, they could have EASILLY put out more than that. The smaller k-code 289 put out around 300hp in the 60's and the 302 could too if it wasnt for that shit. and even if you had 4 more pistons in the ass sucking civic it would only be putting out around 124hp so shut the fuck up.

i own a 713hp 2007 mustang which is my baby, and a 400hp civic SI 07; which is my driver... you cant really compare them. there apples and oranges. i love them both, and wouldnt trade either in for a CHEVY....

Less than 200 HP? Those are the 4 cyl son. The 90-93 Foxbody 5.0 have 205-225 stock. Not lower.. & the 93 Cobra has 245 HP.
