I like Buchanan - I heard him speak once when I went to S. Dakota State– had I been old enough in the 90s, I would have supported him instead of Bush & Dole.

However: 1.) I’ve seen the minority peoples of my generation (20-somethings) & younger assimilate American very well. 2.) I don’t think a Balkanization of America is bad, we might finally get back to individual/states’ rights. A melting pot means nothing if every American is going to be controlled from Washington.

I see this everyday, I work at a company building parts for tractor trailers engines its a fortune 500 company but anyway its about 5-10% white the rest minority and for instance the lunchroom.......every ethnic group is sitting by thereselves in there section.........asians all in one section, blacks in there section, Indians in there section, hispanics in theres and the 5 or so whites in theres and you can here 5 languages in there at one time.....this is the future..a fractured future.

He has bucked the Republican establishment ever since end of the Cold War (that is why they treated him during his presidential campaigns like they are treating Ron Paul now). @ahjrome I'm very familiar with both of them. I think they are very similiar on foreign policy and size and scope of the federal government. They are also the same in regards to taking on the GOP establishment. They certainly have differences also. Pat is more of a nationalist. He is not a hater though. He knows that no country has ever withstood massive multiculturalism without experiencing a civil war or a tyrant holding everyone down with an iron fist.

Btw, Thank you for sharing your views on the two great (in my opinion) men. I do not think Pat thinks "this country will go to shit without white privilege." I do think he believes it will go downhill without a solid white majority and that that would have an overall negative effect on most people regardless of their race in the long run. If your state has an upcoming primary, please consider voting for Dr. Paul there also.
