First off, great video. Non of that silly initial D music that most have.

The brakes are really good on the FD2. You need to further utilise them usign treshold braking and trail brake your way into the apex before getting on the gas. This will reduce the distance that other high power cars put between you and them on the long straights.

Thanks. The FD2R being a JDM model and my 1st outing still had the Speed Limited at about 185km/h. So if can hear clearly, before the end of the long straight, i was either hitting the speed cut then lift off and wait for braking OR just before speed cut, i hold/maintain constant rev to keep it just before 185km/h cut. The FD2R could have been faster if there is not speed cut and then can allow me to accelerate longer and brake later into corner.

Well, this was my 1st track day with the car stock except for the J's Racing exhaust.

Now installed J's Racing Speed limiter cut so no speed cut now, and schedule to install more goodies soon. :) Stay tune for more videos when track is open in April 08!

That Evo7 is running higher boost hence much higher power. It will sure be faster on straight.

The FD2-R is faster on the corner than the EVO. and this FD-2R still had the speed limited to 185km/h.
