You know, Marlon may have had a good voice, but he still did not have the outstanding voice as Michael. Michael stood out much more than any of his brothers did. Even though the Jackson Five were a very exciting group that broke many barriers in their days hands down, Michael was the exception. The way he performed was like no other. I grew up with Jackson Mania, and it was something I will never forget. Let's give Michael the credit and acceptance he definitely deserves. He was unbelievable.

Marlon sounded just as good as Michael did but the mind control tricks of the industry forced our phsyche's to accept Michael as the lead vocalist. its called MK ultra programming Where a group of equally talented people can be in one group,but we are forced to only accept ONE as the most talented in the group. Nsync is a perfect example! Justin Timberlake was not the best singer in the group HOWEVER we were forced in to believing he was the best suited front man for the group.

@soundclik43030 What you say may be true of Nsync and definitely so with the Supremes, but I think not with Marlon .I was seven at the beginning and Marlon was my favourite, as he was the other little guy,but as I grew to understand music, I realised that Mike was a bona-fide genius. Marlon had hell being forced to keep up with Mike in the old days and just didn't have the vocal control Mike had.He has talent, but not genius.The Thriller phenom is a result of hours of Mike's thoughts.

@TheDragonseed5 Why, that was Marlon, the 2nd best dancer of the Jackson 5. Unlike Michael he wasn't a natural. He trained to get to that level. It's sort of how Vegeta is to Goku in Dragonball Z. Vegeta is great but Goku was just a natural & always had that edge on him. Takes nothing away from Marlon though because he STILL can outdance most modern performers.
