online play is a little different FlashLeopard22. i might not care to much for it bc i am a owner of both systems, they're both great however, you can verbally chat with friends while playing different games which the ps3 cannot do. as far as blu-ray.....its pretty cool because Netflix only charges $10 monthly. but i only like blu-ray with action packed explosive movies. not drama

If blue-ray is a feature on the PS3, it deserves to be mentioned. Also, the guy didnt mention the messing up rate. For the x-box, its 10-30%. The PS3 has a 0.2% of screwing up. Also, PS3 is free online so u dont have to waste any more of ur money to play online.
the thing about blu ray most people dont get is that multiplatform games look the same because developers dont like to take time to utilize the whole of the ps3 blu ray thing. psn is not going to charge for online its one of the many features that keeps the ps3 ahead of xbox 360. in my opinion the ps3 is the dominant one for graphics can go alot further. having sky on the 360 is a lame feature as nearly everybody in the uk has sky.

Yes xbox GPU is better but PS3 CPU is far superior it does something CPUs dont normaly do. it can take some of the graphic load off of the PS3's GPU making up for the slight gimp with plenty of room to spare. While the Xbox's CPU is already reaching its limits with the high end games. Very few PS3 games uncharted 2 being 1 have taken advantage of the PS3's superior power

Also, you can put anything on a Blue Ray disk. The point here is that game makers for the PS3 can use all 50gb of space on the disk to add a more detailed setting for their games which requires a lot of space. Games like Uncharted 2 and MGS4 can't be touched by 99% of games on the market thanks to the blue ray disk. Period.

fuck the technical specs. i own both systems and i love them both. although the 360 is just a lot more fun to play with tons of exclusives. yeah the online isnt free but its much more advanced then the conventional online for playstation plus the online play is not near as good as the 360`s. they are great consoles but in owning both, i would much rather play the sexbox

Think about it...The most commonly played online games are shooters which hold lobbies of a max of 30 I'm going to assume because all I play is Call of Duty. So...if you have about 50,000 more people online on xbox on average, does it really matter? Because PS3 has about 200,000 people on Modern Warfare 2 right now. So do more people really matter? I found something to occupy my time during sed 30 minutes. And every other game i have takes a few minutes to install on to the hard drive.

when i bought my ps3 i was kind of frustrated, it didnt come with a mic, it came with normal AV cable, WTF, ur a blu ray player. then i have to go back to gamestop and drop another hundred on mic, and HDMI cable. but when my brother get a 360, it was pretty smooth, it came with HD component, so HD out of the box. it came with mic, and 2 free games.

If blue-ray is a feature on the PS3, it deserves to be mentioned. Also, the guy didnt mention the messing up rate. For the x-box, its 10-30%. The PS3 has a 0.2% of screwing up. Also, PS3 is free online so u dont have to waste any more of ur money to play online.

the thing about blu ray most people dont get is that multiplatform games look the same because developers dont like to take time to utilize the whole of the ps3 blu ray thing. Games that are made exclusive for ps3 like Uncharted 2 or Demon souls look so good because the developers put more time in them. lets wait for mgs to come out for x box then we can compare the recent ps3 mgs xclusive to the xbox one. All im saying is that the games on x box are easier to make and finalize

Yes xbox GPU is better but PS3 CPU is far superior it does something CPUs dont normaly do. it can take some of the graphic load off of the PS3's GPU making up for the slight gimp with plenty of room to spare. While the Xbox's CPU is already reaching its limits with the high end games. Very few PS3 games uncharted 2 being 1 have taken advantage of the PS3's superior power

Also, you can put anything on a Blue Ray disk. The point here is that game makers for the PS3 can use all 50gb of space on the disk to add a more detailed setting for their games which requires a lot of space. Games like Uncharted 2 and MGS4 can't be touched by 99% of games on the market thanks to the blue ray disk. Period.

fuck the technical specs. i own both systems and i love them both. although the 360 is just a lot more fun to play with tons of exclusives. yeah the online isnt free but its much more advanced then the conventional online for playstation plus the online play is not near as good as the 360`s. they are great consoles but in owning both, i would much rather play the sexbox

Does the number of players online really matter? Think about it...The most commonly played online games are shooters which hold lobbies of a max of 30 I'm going to assume because all I play is Call of Duty. So...if you have about 50,000 more people online on xbox on average, does it really matter? Because PS3 has about 200,000 people on Modern Warfare 2 right now. So do more people really matter? Not at all; PS3 wins all around.

Hardware differences: Xbox 360 has 3 cores for processing power... ps3 has 8. yes 8 cores. 7 for gaming, one for the ps3 HUD and one which isnt used. and although the xbox has twice graphics memory (512) to ps3 (256), it is impossible to tell the difference.

u are just like so many of those stupid impatient people in this world The only game that took too long to install on to the hdd was DMC 4 which took a half hour. I found something to occupy my time during sed 30 minutes. And every other game i have takes a few minutes to install on to the hard drive.

when i bought my ps3 i was kind of frustrated, it didnt come with a mic, it came with normal AV cable, WTF, ur a blu ray player. then i have to go back to gamestop and drop another hundred on mic, and HDMI cable. but when my brother get a 360, it was pretty smooth, it came with HD component, so HD out of the box. it came with mic, and 2 free games.

you left out l4d and crackdown also I bouht two battery packs plus charger of ebay for 19.99 and I dont have a hd cable I do have a adapter and online but with a x box live price cut comingx box live wont cost that much also they make you pay for online so they can hire people just to make sure online stays lag free unlike the ps3 over all I say there about even I love ps3 for blue ray but six axis cant make up for no rumble

I'm thinking of getting a ps3 this christmas. I want to play Uncharted 2, Mag, Gran Turismo, little big planet and...Wait...Wow lotta exclusives = P I have a 360. I only got it because at the time more people had it and it had better graphics...Now I'm a bit disappointed.

actually on exclusives ps3 do have more detailed graphics coz of the rsx and they have a less restricted space with the bluray. It is fact.
By more detailed i also mean if you zoom on say a plant it doesn't blur like it would on a game like cod.

as u can see in the ps3 controllers that they copied many things of xbox360... for example the Triggers which feels weird on the ps3 n the middle button that u press...n also the ps3 had a big chance of beating the 360 cuz it came out a year before ps3... ps3 tried to do it better cuz they already knew wat 360 had so they had the advantage... now if it were the other way around... 360 is the best n is still the best now... so ps3 did not do a very good job

The 360 arcade was meant for people who want arcade title the premium system with the 60gb HDD are meant for proper titles and the Wi-Fi adapter makes it cheaper than the ps3
