Your "cart before the horse" approach is less than appealing. I don't think that (IMHO) trying to convince a person via SHAME is exactly what G*d has in mind for us. If that were the case, life would be much more animalistic than usual...

It  is on the other hand empathy and understanding, the horse is definitely leading the cart, not vice versa. go Ginny! plus... at the end she states that she is praying for this persons salvation.
