I listen to Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, etc., so I know good metal bands BUT, once again, SOB is not metal.  Yes I know ambitious bands, I could probably match Daron's guitar playing on guitar any day, but he is a fucking awesome songwriter, which I certainly am not and so I listen to SOB for their good music. So I'm not really sure what your point is.
