@4lifenarusakusasu Lets just say... a lot. To buy them separately, they cost about 3-5 dollars each (pen). To buy large 'collections' of different color pens, the 12 pack is about 30-50 dollars, the 36 pack is about 100-200 dollars, and the 72 pack is almost always around 300 dollars. (The medium sized packs are always sold at different prices on different sites/stores).

@PrincessZelda567 I do, because based on what i've seen, they are pricey but worth it. I would not recommend the Original Copic because it does not have the brush tip- the Original holds the most ink compared to the Sketch and Ciao but the tips aren't as good. The Sketch hold more ink than the Ciao, fit the airbrush system which the Ciao doesn't, and come in the most colors (344) while the Original and Ciao don't come in all 344 colors.

@lone159wolf ok I don't actually use copics yet but from what you said and what I remember having read and seen in other videos good paper is important(you'll have to ask around not sure all the best types other then thicker paper) and when coloring don't color all the way to the edges/your lines because the color is so wet it will bleed outwards from where you put the color a down.

What xjoycelle means by copic proof is that your ink lines wont get destroyed if you use certain pens.

1. i just buy any kind of paper at my local art store that says it's good with ink ):

2&3&4. i never buy from the same place. i buy a couple from here and there and there. it's really best to check and research on your own, even ebay. my markers are about half original and half sketch. but i really think sketch is better, so i'd suggest buying that. and try to buy as much as you can, cos you can never have enough markers :'D

To avoid streaks, try soaking the paper with Colorless Blender ;) (Just be careful not to go over the outlines, because it will bleed... )

I really have no Idea how to use the colorless blender. I tried to use it like you, but then it gets like.. Pushed to the other side and then you get like this weird effect. ._. Like.. A white spot with dark lines around it.
