  • Man i can't press continue....i also dont get the "picture" of my character, its just black : '(

  • @SwitchAsfalt Go to graphics settings and downgrade to dx9, then restart the game. I had the same problem.

  • you should make another video :)

  • good videos im gonna sub

  • @TheReadie1 That sounds like it may be a graphics problem on you end or the install files may have been corrupted. You may want to call Turbine customer support

  • Hey man, Im fairly new to the game. Ive made one of each of the class types and the capitan is by far my favorite. But I want to know if the Heralb you summon upgrades along with the player or like a skrimish summon do you have to upgrade it?

  • @JustinMiles17 You can buy different buffing banners and outfits for them as you level up, but they will level up with you as you progress. That means that for every level you gain, they will also gain which will increase their overall stats.

  • i forgot is lore master f2p i thought it was but i dont remember im not gonna go to delete one of my characters to get nothing

  • @pokemonhelpguru The LM is available on a F2P account. The only classes that need to be unlocked if you are not a VIP are the Rune-Keeper and Warden.

  • Do like to play with your lore-master ??

Im going to creat a new char i have one lvl 30 hunter but i want to play with a different class to dont get bored so what do you think that is a fun class to play ???

  • @PTKrattos I would say the Lore-Master is my favorite class but there are plenty of others that are close seconds. It really just depends on your play style and what you like to do in the game. I like complicated classes so I enjoy the LM, Warden and Burglar but I like playing the Champion and Captain. It's all about preferences since your taste may be different than mine. I would just test out the classes and figure out what you want to do at higher levels then make your decision :) Have fun!

  • @CamroGames i have a warden but i dont really dont like him, and i have two reasons 1 dont have many skills 2 i have to remember all the combos, and i dont like it very much.

Probably im going to choose the LM because i like to play with him i like his skills and i think that is a class that i will not get tired very fast. Thanks for your help

  • @CamroGames im going to choose the lore master but what do you think its the best race the elfs or the humans ???

  • @PTKrattos It really doesn't matter all too much. I think that humans have the better racial passives and traits when it comes to LMs but it won't affect your game too much either way so pick what you like!

  • @PTKrattos Elves are better Loremasters than Men

  • wow i can not make a class

  • apparently,All classes are strong it doesn't mean that lore-masters are weak or something like that its just how do you play okay so you should not talk about the class okay :)

  • @delugerrpg Hey thanks for the comment but I'm not entirely sure I follow. I don't say any class is weak because they all have major strengths. I only talk about the weaknesses they have in certain areas because it helps to better define the areas in which they're strong.

  • dudes dont be scared to start out with burg most kins and groups need burgs theyr rare and most people stay with theyr first toon anyway so they wont go back and make burg just cause its "advanced"

  • @pkersoul It is true that most people won't go back and I don't want people to be afraid of starting with a complicated but needed class(My first two classes were Lore-Master and Burglar). I just want them to realize that it will be difficult and can hurt their first impressions of the game. I know too many people that tried advanced classes and quit the game because they felt it was too confusing when it was really just the difficulty of the class, not the game. Anyway, thanks for the feedback!

  • Awesome, I hope there is some form of in game credit or token or something you can work toward, for turbine points, so you don't have to dish out any cash.

  • @nfarnham2008 You do get some Turbine points form completing deeds based on difficulty (i.e. Complete 15 quests in Bree-land=10 Turbine points, Kill 30 goblins in the Shire=5 Turbine points) but to get enough to unlock more content, you will need to buy more points. However, I definitely recommend the subscription pay-to-play model

  • @CamroGames Yah I played this last year for a little bit and I remember reading a guide on what deeds and such to complete to get enough turbine points for the expansions and such. I just...I tire of WoW

  • @nfarnham2008 I also played wow through to level 85 and I will say the gameplay mechanics are similar in LotRO. However, LotRO's story is exponentially better in my opinion and it's endgame is showing much more promise now that the developer team is growing.

  • @CamroGames Yeah, to me cata was just another lich king, I miss vanilla and TBC wow lol. So this is still expanding? I thought it was just a p2p that had died. Any news on future expansions? I love the crafting side and the world seems large, even coming from WoW sized worlds. I just WISH someone would do like Runes of Magic and incorporate housing >.<

  • @nfarnham2008 Yeah this game is definitely still expanding. The F2P switch brought a very large amount of life to the game and brought in a huge amount of new players and profit. They bring out an expansion every year(They have only skipped a year once and that was because they launched F2P). The current one they are working on is the Rise of Isengard expansion which is due this fall but there are updates every two months with new group content and raids. And there is a housing system in LoTRO:)

  • @CamroGames Cool, I've read that they say you can start like a character, farm the beginning zones and deeds, and then delete and redo for TP for expansions and such. I'd rather put in work than money. Any idea on what class is the easiest to do this grind, rinse and repeat method with? Also, so they plan to do this every year? and would it do me good to watch the movies for lore? I saw the first one YEARS back lol.

  • @nfarnham2008 At that point, it really doesn't matter which class you choose but I would highly recommend buying a month to begin with(it's only $10) to take off some of the locks. There are 3 levels of player: F2P, Premium and VIP(Subscriber). F2P is the base level and has a 1 Gold currency cap, limited bags and tons of other setbacks. Premium is the level you get when you actually purchase something and it lifts some of the caps. So buying a sub to start puts you at premium and lifts the caps.

  • @CamroGames ah k, so one class isnt really quicker at the grind process than another? k.

  • @nfarnham2008 As for lore, this game is based on the books. It wouldn't make sense to base it off of the movies since they are also a just derivative of the books. I definitely suggest reading the LotR trilogy and The Hobbit for lore but I know people that have only seen the movies that enjoy it just fine. However, if you read the books, you will get a lot more references, recognize more names and places and will have a larger appreciation for the the game and story as a whole :)

  • @CamroGames K, thanks! would you say hunter and champion are good for solo?

  • @nfarnham2008 All classes have very strong soloing skills but it's most about your skill level and if you can use them efficiently enough to play them solo. Both the hunter and champion are beginner level classes and can solo easily but I would watch the rest of my class series for more detail about the classes.

  • Nice review, but the only thing i disagree is that the race doesnt affect you a lot in the end game, so which race isnt so important, except maybe race traits

  • @lucky100x True, but this was really for newer players to the game and that +15 might or +10 agility make a difference if you are just starting out without much knowledge about stats

  • Nice video, I'd just add something on captains, at high levels they can act as main healer (rather than simply support), they have healed all 3 man instances and nearly every 6 man instance.

They also great for pvp as healers because their heals are inductionless.

Lastly while they are very wanted by groups, they don't stack, generally if people have a captain they don't want another (talking 6 / 3 man), so while other classes may not be as in demand (burg for example) most stack a lot better.

  • @somename99 Agreed. I would have elaborated more but I didn't want to make the video too long. Thanks for the input!

  • hey i tried downloading dis game.. but when around 70 to 80 percent of the content has been downloaded, it simply stop i tried sveral times but it wont continue.. i don't know if it is the Pando Booster hu is causing dis.. i hope for some advice.. i already played DDO for quite sometimes now.. and i thhink LOTRo is the next way to go..thanks..

  • @joveug this game has crazy download speed

  • @joveug Hey, glad to hear you are interested in the game. It could be the booster that is causing your problem so I would try unistalling that and trying again. I will say that I downloaded the game again around 2 years ago for my current system and I have not needed to use the downloader since but when I used it, it worked fine and I never had any problems other than .NET Framework(but that sounds unrelated to your issues). Good luck man!

  • nice lotro vids, continue the good work
