My husband and I were in NC last weekend for a wedding. We ate breakfast at a lovely place "Country Kitchen" in Ashelville, and I had livermush for the first time. It's very much like scrapple, I thought, and I liked it.

god that dude is such a loser. they make livermush sound like it's totally discusting but it's OMG yummy. Everytime i got to grill or to shelby cafe i get a livermush sandwich. lol it's livermush, cheese and mayo on a bun. in the mornings you can ask for egg on it nd it's reallly good too. you should try it. it's really great. i think i want one now actually lol.

I was visiting my grandmother in York S.C. and before I left to go back to Florida, I stopped by a grocery store to pick up some Liver Mush! When she made breakfast for us as kids, you could count on having some Liver Mush. I love this stuff! There were different brands at the store, but I remember this episode on the Travel Channel and picked up some Mack's Liver Mush. My grandmother uses Neese's Liver Pudding which is pretty good also!

Almost all my relatives live in that part of NC so I have always eaten livermush. Great stuff!! Bad part is we can only get it when we go back to visit cause we moved away when I was young. I would love to order this online!!!! Hated that the host kept saying "moosh"! What an idiot!

I was born and raised in western, NC....livermush was (and still is) a staple in my house, it's the BEST stuff EVER!!!! I can't believe this damn yankee mispronouncing "mush"....what a shame.

That host was a total moron. He kept pronouncing the mush incorrectly. Liver mush is very good. That is because I was raised on it like a majority of people near Shelby. Then again, I think that scrapple is NASTY, but some yankees were raised on it and love it. Depends on where you are from in the country.

@missannekol There's a good chance you've seen it every time you went to grab bacon at your local grocery store. They sell it In NC, SC, and VG.

I don't know a single Grocery store that doesn't carry it.
