    my heart is singing :-)

  • lol, thats cute..

  • thats ok- found out your hearing from your channel :)

  • Hey guys, my fiancee is an interpreter, and I am studying Level 3 now. Keep it up guys. Absolutly brilliant.

  • Truly beautiful!! The passion with which you sing is infectious! I have been learning Auslan for 2 weeks now... and this is beautiful to see how fluent you can become with it! So very impressed!

P.s. You look as if you are in a beautiful relationship too. ;-)

  • Beautiful... <3

  • Well done guys! Love it :)

  • Are you guys deaf?

  • @maomaoyu No, we are both hearing but have been signing for some time.

  • 1 Person doesn't have anyone to lay down with.

  • I know I've commented before, but this video makes me so happy every time I watch it. I love the auslan and doing it along with you guys. And your kiss at the end fills my heart with joy every time. Magical.

  • That was amazing!

You guys did a wonderful interpretation, with incredible expression and attention to rhythm. And the closeness between the two of you was wonderfully evident. I'd love to see more.

  • Wow guys, I'm learning Auslan and think this is beautiful

    . Well done.

  • love it

  • Beautiful song. Very sweet perfomance. Welldone.

  • I say this for the first time tonight and call me a sap but I cried when i saw it. I dont know Ausian Signs, as I am, ASL but I still understood the signs because it was a great interpretation of the song. You both are adorable and great signs. Keep it up and post some more please.

    Thanks...

  • You're shit. Don't make any more video's kthnx.

  • this the first time i have ever responded to a video....... and i want to say that was amazing and beautiful, thank-you for making me smile :)

also i have just started to learn Auslan at Tafe and i'm loving it... cheers.

  • Are you both Hearing guys ? Which state do you live in ? Not sure if diff, dialect with some signs. Please please please make more vids. Not many Auslan vids out there. :)))

  • @iCanHearUSign We are from Victoria, some signs were 'chosen' as they suited the meaning of the song more.

  • @mjprods love your interpretation and the signs chosen were beautiful! im from NSW and i understood all signs perfectly !! are you hearing, hoh or Deaf ? thanx so much for your response - looking forward to watching more Auslan signed songs :)

  • Thanks for the awesome vid guys.

Videos like this really help those of us learning Auslan, and make it fun as well.

I know it's been a while and perhaps your interests have changed, but I'd love to see some more!

  • @MrSmurfyDog There will be more to come :)

  • 1 Homophobe disliked this video

  • Absolutely wonderful.

  • Do another song! ♥

  • That is beautiful.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Would love to see more songs done like this :)

  • That was adorable! Love that song! I love learning Auslan and I'm also gay. So jelous, I want to do this with a partner one day. You've inspired me, thanks SirNailsTheFirst.

  • omg, i went to school with fiona crisp!! did she teach you guys or are you friends with her?

BTW, great work keep it up! we need more people like you!

  • @onlyqob Yeah we are both friends with her, how'd you know?

  • @mjprods you gave special thanks to her at the end! ;P

  • yay im studying auslan and u guys did a good job.

  • Oh, my goodness.

EVERYTIME I watch this video I smile. How corny. But it's soo amazing. I'm fucking 15, but when I'm old enough, I want something like you've got.

  • @cdoug25

    Thanks :)

    Something like you've got?

  • @mjprods

Well, you look like you're in a cute as relationship, but that's just what I'm assuming.

  • @cdoug25

Ohhh thats what you mean, yeah we are :p

We actually started discussing songs to do again last night, its been ages since we did one but thats just because we have both been so busy, but we are gonna make the time to make another video.

  • @mjprods

Well, I really hope you do. :) Btw, I'm totally shite at Auslan, so that's why this question will be stupid: Do you speak the Northern or Southern dialect?

  • nice:)

  • that's amazing, :)

  • Just wondering, what state are you guys from?

I'm currently studying in Victoria and some of the signs I know were not necessarily the same as I would use (e.g you signed 'would', whereas i would have signed 'will') and was curious if this was a variant of a sign or you were from interstate.

Otherwise, i really enjoyed the video; i'm happy to see more videos with Auslan as i always see ASL and wish there was more Auslan...so please keep it up =]

  • @cabajs92 We used 'would' because its a hypothetical situation, the word 'will' wouldn't fit properly. We are from Victoria.

  • I'm doing an intro to Auslan at work and stumbled across this video. I am so glad that I did. Sweet and beautiful.

  • this makes me happy every time i watch it. thank you so much for making this video. sometimes i feel so down and then i watch it and i just feel so much more relaxed and peaceful and happy. it's such a beautiful video.

  • You guys are awesome! Great video =)

  • That is really great guys. Love it! I am studying Auslan 1 at the moment and I am really excited to be able to recognize some of your signing. Keep up the good work.

  • Really nice video guys, i have completed lvl 2 but have been waiting for level 3 for months. I don't have anyone to really sign to or learn off, so your video was great help. I often sit in the car at traffic lights and sign songs to myself. Keep up the great work, you are really helping people learn. Inspiring

  • @1hollyrocky1 I do the same thing at traffic lights, wish there were more Auslan vids to watch. Maybe we'll see each other at traffic lights one day. HaHaHa

  • Actually we are both Aussie and speak fluent English.

  • i know what u mean i was signing it and it didnt flow but it worked in a way bec i was signing the sng to my parents bec they are both deaf so yeh btw nice vid

  • That was really beautiful. it was a pleasure to watch.

  • one day all videos will use this beautiful language :)

  • This is amazingly beautiful. I got teary!

  • This is really beautiful... you kind of emote with your signs... it's like 'saying it with feeling, emotions'... physically ^_^

I really enjoyed it, even though I don't understand Auslan... :)

  • A direct translation into sign would not make sense and would not flow with the song. There are lines in the song for which there is no Auslan version so some is interpretive. If you don't understand this, you have

missed the point of the video

  • The Auslan was fine actually and so was the structure. It was an English song put into sign and so it was not full English structure or full sign structure. There was nothing wrong with either.

  • Yeah I totally agree, it's sing signing so it doesn't always fit into exact structure. I like the way you've done the chorus too, sign for pretend fits perfectly, really good interpretation, nice to watch!

  • Good try guys, but the Auslanic structure a bit off. More practice :)

  • Good try guys but the Auslan wasnt that good, Sorry!

  • my god, this is absolutely gorgeous. thank you for sharing this! i'm learning auslan and your video was really helpful - and just a pleasure to watch in addition to being informative. you guys are wonderful :-)

  • WOW :-).. LOVED IT!, Aussie Sign Language just blows me away, i dont know, something about "Hearing Guys" signing is just a hughe TURN ON , WINK. You guys are SOOO CUTE :-).. Cant wait to see more....

  • wow, auslan is almost like british sign language. i've gotta sign this song soon. well done guys!

  • Oh wow!

I just came up this video and.. it's just mind-blowing because i have the asl version, and this is in auslan.

    Beautiful sign language. :)

  • You two are beautiful. I love that song, Was truly beautiful to see it signed, especially with you two doing it together. Smiles and smiles :)

  • I don't know Auslan, only American Sign Language (ASL), but I love this song and you two are adorable. Check out xcrippledhope's ASL version of this song if you're curious. Just search for xcrippledhope and you'll find it.

  • Hi Banerika. We've just opened up our channel today to find your lovely messages. It's great to get such positive feedback from you, even though you're far away and more ASL oriented. We hope to put more videos up soon (any requests welcome). PS - thanks for the vid referral - awesome!

  • PPS - Both of us each have a twin as well, identical in fact! Catcha round Erika :)

  • I'm so glad you're going to do more videos. Watching your video just made me feel so happy, it was so sweet and beautiful too. You're identical twins? That's so cool! I'm an identical twin too. Request -- I love this great Australian singer named Sia (from Adelaide) partly because she did a video for her song "Soon We'll Be Found" in ASL.

  • I was thinking that it would be so interesting to see what that song looked like translated into Auslan, but I didn't know anyone to do it. I kept thinking that deaf people in Australia must be pissed that it isn't in Auslan. So that's my request if you're interested!

  • Banerika's post could be really tragically misinterpreted by those people who think everything over a particular line is exactly equivalent.

You're identical twins? And that's a French kiss at the end? My lord, I must nuke both Australia and France before putting on my God Emperor of the World pj's...

    h.

  • @cinnamonbrandylite, I think you're really confused. Each person in this video has his own identical twin, not in this video. Get it?

  • Yeah, but I think people who randomly stumble across your post and have issues are not necessarily as smart as either of us.

    Get it?

    h.

  • ah i see it now, i apologise it was just my mistake, apparently i missed it the first 3 times. forgive me

  • i have learnt very little auslan, ill admit that, but am i wrong in saying u miss the word "just"

you have: "if i lay here, if i lay here"

should be: "if i lay here, if i just lay here"

unless im just missing it, as i said i am very new to auslan

  • no they sign the "just"

  • yeah, i realised after i wrote that, i did write an apology for missing it, but thank you for pointing that out
