  • I'm big and I've had fluctuations of almost 2 lbs in a 24 time period before while working out either in the plus or minus. Not sure about 3....must've lost SOME weight. Most likely a lot of it was water and droppin a big deuce!

  • im having a bad week myself because i closed last time at 235 but think it was water weight im trying to keep my metabolic rate up.

  • You need to weigh yourself first thing in the morning when you wake up before you eat or drink anything. That's more of your true weight. If you're 266lbs at 4:00pm after eating and drinking all day....Then I can bet you will be around 260lbs or less in the AM when you first get up.

  • eh in one day i fluctuate 10 pounds sometimes. i drink water all day long usually 1 1/2-2 gallons, so if you dont shit and dont piss for a while it adds up quick. a gallon of water is like 8.5 pounds this is why i dont usually weigh myself everyday, just every sunday

  • Eat smart, cut out the grazing and join a gym. In a year you'll be in the best shape of your life. As for the weigh in... once a week is all you need. It's about your health not your weight.

    A gallon of water weighs 8.35 pounds.

    3 pounds is about 40 ounces.

  • bodyweight fluctuates like that over the course of a day. that is why many people who use a scale do so at the same time everyday, in order to minimize the fluctuations

  • @humans4targets2 It just means that you already "lost" these 3 lbs when you did your last weigh in, it's just that it's now reflected in the actually weigh in because of decreased food/water in your system. That's why it's always good to do a weigh in day in 3 different times throughout the day and see which is the lowest.
